Brotp: A ship which the characters have a platonic relationship, rather than a romantic one
Bashing: A term used in fanfiction when the author puts down, says derogatory things about, or emphasizes the negative traits of a character or group of characters.
BAMF – bad ass mother f***er. Among fangirls it often refers to a strong, independent female character. BAMFsference – portmanteau of "BAMF" and "transference." When a fangirl is attracted to a lady BAMF's love interest simply because they worship and respect the BAMF. Beta – a person who edits and proofreads fanfiction.
Bae: Bae stands for before anyone else, a fangirls bae is typically the actor/character they obsess/fangirl over.
Bandom: a fandom specifically dedicated to a group or band
Book Sniffing: breathing in the scent of a book; often done in secret. This is how book nerds get high.
Book Hoarder: one who acquires and stores mass volumes of books, and one who equates books with children and therefore could never entertain the idea og getting rid of a book.
