Children lie.
They say they're fine, that the words don't hurt
But they do
Please help the children
They need itChildren lie.
Little non-truths to get out of trouble
Then their lies get bigger and bigger
Until it's compulsive
They get tangled in the webs they've weaved
And the truth comes outChildren lie.
When they get caught, everything falls apart
Everything built on deceit collapses
It's hard to build build trust back up again after lying
