This can't be happening. No, no, no. NO! I looked at the children crying. I looked at the mother who lost her child. She was already going crazy with grief.
"Everybody get back in your seats!" I yelled. Nobody heard me. They were still crying and men were doing nothing. Then there was this gothic looking boy who kept looking at me like he wanted to kill me. I grew impatient.
"EVERYBODY GET IN YOUR SEATS NOW!" I boomed in a commanding voice. Everybody stopped and went into their seats fast. I sighed and sat back in my seat. I looked out the window. We were still flying at least. I hope we don't crash. I hope we don't. Suddnely the plane stopped. Lurching me forward and my head hit the seat in front of me causing a bruise. My left leg ached terribly. I looked at the other side to see what was going on. The engine gave out.
"Oh shit," I muttered and then we fell. James screamed, everybody screamed but I didn't. I was too shocked. It was like I lost my voice and I couldn't find it. I couldn't scream. I looked at the kids the terror on their faces. How they clinged to their mothers and fathers. I flinched when suitcases started to fall. One of them above James and I, fell on James head. I gasped and closed my eyes shut. I can't look at this. I hope he was alright. Then the plane slammed into the water. Water flooded into the plane. I quickly unbuckled my seat belt and tried to get James but when I shook him I saw that his neck...was broken. He was dead. I saw a mother grasping her chest and having trouble breathing. Her daughter crying and drowning in the water. I struggled towards the girl and grabbed her and tried to help the mother.
"No....just...leave...me...take her...and go," she struggled to say. I nodded. The water was getting too high. I have to let the girl go for a moment.
"I have to let you go. I promise I'll be back I have to get us out of this plane," I told the girl. She nodded and I let her go. We were sinking and these people needed out. I went under water and swam towards the plane door. Being stupid I kicked the door with my left leg and not my right. Pain shot up my leg and I groaned in pain. I kicked the door with my right leg again and again. I gave it one more powerful kick and finally the door broke open and we were out. People rushed out and I found the little girl struggling and kicking with all her might. I grabbed her and looked around for salvation and there I saw the scariest island. The sky was cloudy and blue. It looked like it was going to rain.
"Swim to the island!" I yelled.
Me and the people who survived the plane crash swam to shore as fast as we could. I dragged my heavy body on the sand and fell on my stomach. The little girl nuzzled against me and weeped for her mother. I closed my eyes. I wish I never had to do this. I wish I never stepped on the plane. I wish dad never died.
"Are you okay?" A familiar voice asked me. I looked up and saw the black headed girl.
"No," I said. There was no point in lying. No one was alright. We were stuck on a scary island and most of us lost our families.
"My name is Carlene. What's yours?" She asked. I looked up at her.
"River," I answered. She nodded. The little girl stirred in my arms.
"My name is Jessie," she said sweetly. I smiled at her. I frowned when I looked back at Carlene. I was stuck on an island with a bunch of strangers. I looked up at a blonde skinny man that kept eye balling the kids that were in the shallow water. I narrowed my eyes. Oh no. If I was on an island with a pedophile..I grew angry. No one touches the kids especially him.
"You there!" I heard a man say walking towards me. "You saved our lives," he continued. I nodded. I kicked the door open.
"My name is Larry and I heard what you told this little lady here. You're River," he said. I nodded. Larry was a big man. With a scar on his right cheek. He seemed nice. I looked over and saw the same gothic boy. He was looking straight at me. I narrowed my eyes and looked into his black eyes.
"My name is Bridget," said a blonde manly looking woman.
"My name is Lucifer," said the gothic boy. I raised an eyebrow. Yeah he wishes.
"My name is Bill," said the pedophile looking man.
"Mine is Robert," said a man with a deep voice. He seemed very untrustworthy too. The kids didn't pay attention nor did they spill their names. The grieving mother's name was Diana. She sat by the water. I held Jessie tightly when Bill started looking at her. Oh no. I don't think so.
"Who will be our leader?" Robert asked.
"River," Larry answered, "He saved all of our lives."
"He's too young!" Bridget exclaimed.
"Yeah well get over it. Tell us what to do," Larry said turning towards me.
"Um...Build shelter?" I said. I wasn't expecting this. At all.
"Alright let's build shelter!" Larry yelled. I sighed and looked at Carlene. She looked back at me. Great. I was stuck on an island. How are we gonna get back home?
