Many also believe that Jonbenet's older brother, Burke, whom was only nine at the time of the death, killed her by accident. That theory surrounds the mysterious pineapple. When Jonbenet's autopsy was done, there were traces of a undigested fruit, believed to be pineapple. It was undigested, so it had to have been given to Jonbenet not long before she died, so its most likely her killer fed her pineapple before killing her. When the police arrived at the Ramsey home the morning Jonbenet went missing, they found a mysterious bowl of milk with sliced pineapple inside, sitting on the kitchen table. The strange thing is that, on the night Jonbenet died, The Ramsey's took her and Burke to a Christmas Party with friends, at that party, there was no pineapple served there, meaning Jonbenet wouldnt have eaten it there. When John and Patsy brought Jonbenet & Burke home later that night, they have always said that they put them both straight to bed and neither of then had pineapple, implying Jonbenet didnt eat pineapple there either. So where did this undigested pineapple in her system come from? The shocked thing is that when the bowl of pineapple that was found at the home was examined by investigators, they found Burke and Patsy's fingerprints on it! So why would the Ramseys say that neither children ate anything that night when they got home? Why would they lie? Not only did John and Patsy say they had no idea where it came from, but young Burke told police he didnt eat pineapple either. Why are they lying? What are they hiding? This made police and investigators think the Ramseys were hiding something about this dark crime. The theory that most people believe, is that Patsy made Burke a bowl of pineapple after they put Jonbenet to bed, and Jonbenet, being still hungry from not eating much at the party, went downstairs to get a late night snack. When she did, she saw Burke sitting there eating pineapple. Jonbenet went over and picked a piece of pineapple out of the bowl, which enraged Burke, causing him to grab the largest object next to him, that being the huge flashlight found next to the bowl of pineapple, and he sit Jonbenet in the head with it, accidentally killing her. Then, John and Patsy, having just lost their daughter, didnt want Burke to get sent away and then them loose him as well, leading them to stage the while scene as a kidnapping.
