Jo's Car

Kehlani: So what did they say?! 

Jo: No, hey babe, i missed you...nothing? 

Kehlani: Hey babe i missed you!   What they say?!? 

Jo: That's a shame! They said yes! 

Kehlani: Really!?

Jo: Yes, so calm down cause we need to talk! 

Kehlani: Oh God, what i do now? 

Jo: What the fuck happened with Jason? And don't fucking lie! 

Kehlani: Seriously?! 

Jo: Yes! Your dad told me that they had to take a restraining order out on his ass! So talk! 

Kehlani: No, not til you tell me how you know him! 

Jo: I can't Kehlani! 

Kehlani: WHY!?!

Jo: BECAUSE KEHLANI! 

Kehlani: THAT'S NOT FUCKING GOOD ENOUGH! 

TELL ME! 

Jo: I CAN'T! JUST FUCKING TELL ME KEHLANI! DAMN IT! 

Kehlani: WHY CAN'T YOU TELL ME JO! 

Jo: BECAUSE I CAN'T TRUST YOU! 

Kehlani is quiet and just stares at him. Shocked and hurt she turns away and stares out the window as the tears start to flow down her face. 

Why would he say he doesn't trust me?! What have i done? This pain is to much, i can't do this anymore. 

She's crying, why am i so fucking stupid!? I hate seeing her hurt! I love her, but i don't know if she'll accept me for who and what i am, if she doesn't i put everything at risk. But if that piece of shit did something to her i need to know, i can't let him hurt her again. I hope she loves me enough to get past who i am.

Kehlani: If you don't trust me then we can't be together!

Jo stops the car. 

Jo: No, we're not going to be that couple! Kehlani, if you knew the truth you wouldn't love me and a lot of shit would happen. I have to protect myself and my family. 

Kehlani: Are you kidding me Jo Rossi!

Jo stares at her with a blank shocked look on his face 'how did she know my last name?' is all he could think about in that moment. 

Kehlani: Yea i already know who you are, I've been waiting for you to tell me. 

Jo: How do-did you know? 

Kehlani: Jason. 

Jo: What the actual fuck Kehlani! When?!? 

Kehlani: After that night i asked you and him how you two knew each other, and you spent the night.  He told me at school. 

Jo: Why didn't you tell me? 

Kehlani: Because one i don't trust him and from how and what he told me, i wanted to hear your side. I love you, your my man, why am i going to believe someone over my man!? 

Jo: How'd i get so lucky to have you in my life?

Kehlani: You kidnapped me! 

Jo: That was just a misunderstanding! *Laughs* 

Kehlani: So since we're sitting in the middle of the road, tell me  your side. 

Jo: My father is Salvatore Rossi, he is the Don or Boss and because i'm his son that makes me caporegime or capo. This has been in our family for generations all the way back to Italy. We have business set up here, Italy, Spain, Miami, Russia and the list goes on. 

Jason use to work for my father, he was just a kid, and i was beginning to step up. Jason was too eager and had a very itchy trigger finger, but he wasn't loyal. One night i told Memphis to follow him because i didn't trust him. He followed him right to a local gang who we supplied to and wanted to try and fuck us over. They didn't like change, Jason wen't in and was there for like four hours telling them our shipment schedule. If i wouldn't of had my source on the inside not only would our shipment have been taken but me and my men would of been dead. Usually for something like that, i would of killed his ass but he was a kid and had family and people to miss him. So i told him if i ever saw him anywhere near my territory or anything that was mine i'd kill him and deliver his head on a silver platter to his mother. 

Kehlani: That's really um...ok!

So do i classify as yours? 

Jo: Kehlani: you should already know the answer to that! So, tell me, why the restraining order? 

Kehlani: We had been together for a while and my dad didn't like him because he was in a gang, and he was always inappropriate around my parents. So he kept trying to get in my pants, and finally i told him the truth and he flipped out! So he stopped talking to me so i assumed that we were done, especially since everyone was telling me he was fucking some other bitch, so i went back to my normal routine, and i ended up going on some date with this guy and it got back to him and he showed up to my house at 2 am screaming and yelling. Kendall was there and kept telling him to leave. Finally he left, so we thought. He waited until Kendall had left and broke in. He was yelling how i was a slut and that since i gave it up to some other nigga, it was only fair that he got to fuck me since he had me first. So, we fought- well i defended myself or tried to! My dad has a 38 under his night stand so that was all i was trying to get to. So when i finally did, i shot him twice and ran to Beth's house cause her dad's a cop! I had two bruised ribs, four broken ribs, a broken femur, bruises all over and a fractured collar bone. After Jason was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, assault with a deadly weapon, trespassing, and harassment. Its been like two years, we dropped the restraining order because his mom couldn't afford to move so he just keeps his distance. 

Jo: I'm going to fucking kill him! He's fucking dead! 

Kehlani: Baby, calm down...please!

Jo: He hurt you Kehlani! And you want me to let that go?! 

Kehlani: Yes, because he can't hurt me anymore. And I'm with you and i know you'll never hurt me or let anything happen to me! 

Jo: I love you Kehlani, I have a surprise for you! 

Kehlani: OOO, a surprise!?! Where?! *Luaghs* 

Jo: You'll see! *Smiles*
