It's been one week since Christmas Day and Jake and I have been texting most days. He doesn't have too much time on his hands when he's working at the music shop and writing music too.

I'm a failed photographer that turned into a YouTuber. I haven't made a video in over a month and I'm constantly getting tweeted at.

So, today was that day! And I want Jake to be featured.

Me: hi Jake :)

Jake: heyy

Me: I have a questiiiooonnn for youuuu

Jake: alright, what is it?

Me: do you want to be in my YouTube videooo?

Jake: I mean sure, why not?

Me: when are you free?

Jake: I can do tonight? I haven't got any pub gigs tonight.

Me: sounds good. See you after you finish work?

Jake: yeah I'll come straight round.

Me: okay :) see you then.

Well, considering I have a musician featuring, this video has to be musical somehow. Guess the lyric? Try not to sing along? Rap battle?

I cannot rap to save my life and a try not to sing along challenge is far too easy for the both of us.

I suppose it'll have to be guess the lyric or continue the song? That could be quite good. Although, the thought of Jake rapping makes me laugh.

After deciding on finish the lyric I set everything up ready for when Jake gets here.

I think I feel something for Jake, but maybe I just feel like that because I broke up with my boyfriend. Maybe I just like the idea of Jake and I dating. I wonder how Jake feels about our relationship.

We don't spend an awful amount of time together. It mostly consists of us texting each other as Jake is usually a pretty busy guy.

It wasn't long until I hear Jake knocking on my front door. I instantly smile and make my way downstairs.

I open the door to see Jake with his guitar, stood leaning against my door frame.

"Hi Jake! You ready to experience the 'life of a YouTuber" I say laughing. He smiles at me and soon a laugh follows too.

"I'm as ready as I can be" Jake smiles. It's nice seeing him smile.

"Well, come on! Don't stand out there all day. We got filming to do." I express.

"Alright, I'm coming" Jake laughs at my excitement.

"You can leave your guitar in the living room if you want. My camera is set up in my room" I smile at Jake and use my hand to gesture towards the living room.

"Yeah, sorry about my guitar. I wanna show you something I've been working on later. You know, get someone else's opinion?" Jake says, his eyes flashing with nerves.

"Oh, sure! I feel honoured." I say chuckling.

Jake and I make our way into my room upstairs and I tell Jake where to sit. His eyes wandered around my room, taking everything in. I don't blame him, I would too.

His eyes land on the keyboard in the corner of the room.

"Hey! You didn't tell me you played" Jake says walking over to the keyboard.

" I don't really. My brother gave it to me, because he couldn't take it with him when he moved." I shrugged.

"I'd like to learn some day though" i say smiling.

"Right, ok lets get this done so I can hear what you've been working on" Jake grins and sits down next to me.

"Hey Guys! So today Jake and I here are doing a finish the lyric challenge. Jake is actually a musician, which is mainly why I chose a music themed video today" I say shrugging.

"How are you with song lyrics Jake?" I ask smiling.

"Erm, well I struggle to remember my own, so this could be interesting" Jake says looking slightly worried.

"I'm sure you're better than me. I'm terrible at memorising lyrics" I chuckle

"Right, anyway, here's the first one!"

Don't wanna be an American Idiot

Don't want a nation under the new media

"What's the next line?" I ask wriggling my eyebrows.

"Well everyone knows green day, don't they?" Jake says laughing a bit.

"Is it and can you hear the sound of hysteria?" Jake says smiling smugly.

"Yup! Ok so that was an easy one, let's have a more difficult one this time" I say smirking at the camera. Jake laughs and shakes his head at me.

We've just come to represent

"You weren't lying when you said this one is harder" Jake says looking shocked.

"Do you know what song it is for starters?" I ask trying not to laugh at jakes frustration.

"I don't know the song, but it's the 1975, right?" Jake asks unsurely.

"Yeah, it's the 1975. I love them" I laugh.

"Honestly Ophelia, I haven't got a bloody clue" Jake says shaking his head.

"That one was quite hard. The next line was 'a decline in the standards are what we accept'. I wouldn't have gotten that either if someone was testing me" I say patting Jake on the shoulder.

Jake and I carried on, me testing him on more songs. We eventually finished.

"So, are you gonna show me what you've been working on?" I say excitedly.

"Yeah, come on" Jake says patting me on the head.

I raced down the stairs and flung myself onto the sofa waiting patiently. Jake laughed behind me and grabbed his guitar from the case.

All the time people follow us where we go

We both should believe the path that we chose

And I'll hold you with such delicacy

No they won't catch me and you

Its all over all of the time

And if you want to I wont mind

Please don't leave it

I don't know what to do

No they won't catch me and you

"That's all I've got at the moment. What do you think?" Jake says to me, placing his guitar down.

"I think it was beautiful" I smile at him.

"Do you really though? You aren't just saying that to make me feel better?" Jake mumbles.

"I wouldn't lie to you Jake" I say frowning at him.

"Sorry, I'm just not use to sharing my music with other people. Especially when they mean something to me" Jake replies.

"I mean something to you?" I say grinning like a Cheshire Cat.

"Well yeah, of course you do" Jake says looking shocked at me.

"Well, you mean something to me too jake" I smile back at him.
