-Alan's POV-
I was surprised when a teenager walked into the shop, odd, it's too early for any teenage boy to be up at this time, then again, I'm up at this time in the morning. He had short, honey brown hair and a square face, he was attractive, but not my type.
As you could probably tell, I'm gay. But if you couldn't, guess what! I'm gay!
I watched as his eyes landed on me, he looked surprised then walked over and sat across from me.
"You're a weird guy if you get up at this time of day" Was the first thing he said. Well, that's one way to start a conversation.
"What about you? You're here, and you look about my age" I retaliated, raising an eyebrow at his blunt manner.
"Ah, touché, if you must know, I've just snuck out of my girlfriend's house, I couldn't go home because my mom would chew my ear off, so I decided to have some coffee to wake me up. Now you know why i'm up, you?" He crossed his arms over his chest and leaned back in his chair,
"I forgot to check what time it was before I left" I admitted sheepishly, shrugging innocently before sipping on my coffee.
"I'm Aaron, by the way" The kid reached his hand out to me, I replied by shaking it,
"I'm Alan" I told him. Aaron and I talked for a while before he decided to go borrow some clothes off of his friend and at least text his mom of his wellbeing. We said goodbye and I was left alone, again.
And just like that, there was one. Ah, life, gotta' love it!
By now I had no more coffee in my cup and my hair was dry, I checked the time. Close enough. I stood up and gathered my things before walking to school.

School sucks. I'm not talking about the boring teachers, or the never ending classes, or even sitting alone in the cafeteria. No, I'm talking the actual students.
Unnecessary shoving, snide comments and fail attempts at insulting me. I was literally alone. No one wanted me at school so I wonder why I even bother showing up. Everyone bullied me, they didn't before. Only when I came out about my sexuality.
