Zane's POV:
It was the morning of the party and we were almost finished setting everything up. We were up all night last night putting up the chairs and the tables but the last thing that we need to do is put the plates, cutlery and napkins on the tables. And that's what Nana was working on in the kitchen.
As I walked into the kitchen I saw Nana folding the napkins and making them into little, kawaii cats.
Zane: Um Nana why did you make them into little, cute cats?!
Nana: Well, cute cats are always very happy so as this is a happy celebration, I wanted to add them to the party.
Zane: Well they look incredible!!
Nana: Thanks!!! All we have left to do is put them on the tables.
Zane: Garroth and I will start doing that straight away!!
Nana: Well you better be quick because the guests will arrive soon!!
Garroth's POV:
While Zane and I were just about finished putting the plates, cutlery and napkins on the table, our first guests arrived.
It was Katelyn and Travis. I quickly ran to the front door to greet them. After that we showed them to their seat and they were amazed at how fast we had set everything up in the amount of time that we had.
Then more guests started arriving. After everyone had arrived we had around 50 people in the backyard. No one was confident enough to start dancing so I started dancing and people were getting up and joining in.
Zane's POV:
This party was really kicking off!! It first started with Garroths terrible dance moves, but it had looked like everyone was enjoying themselves. To be honest I was really worried about planning this party because it was after the war and we hadn't thrown a party in ages. But seeing as everyone was having fun I started enjoying it too. I think everyone here needed something to get their minds off of things. And plus this is the perfect way to inform everyone that Nana and I are going to have a baby soon.
Nana's POV:
It had been 2 hours since this party had started and already this has been the best party I've ever held.
But I think that it's time to announce our baby news. I hop onto the chair and wave my hands to get their attention.
Nana: Ahem! Hi guys and welcome to the party!! I really hope that you guys have been having a great time here!! But Zane and I have some news to tell you all!!
Zane: Ok guys please don't go crazy but soon enough Nana and I are going to be parents!!
Zane's POV:
Then suddenly all of the guests started cheering!! But I could see my mum. She kind of had a proud grin stuck on her face. But in her arms was the most adorable baby girl I've ever seen!! She had dark brown hair and eyes and pale skin. I stepped down from the chair that I was standing on and crept my way through the crowd. When I got there I felt small, soft hands touching my face. It was Renee's. I kissed her on the head. I then turned to my mum and she started telling me about how amazing it will be when I have one of my own.
Garroth's POV:
I could tell that my mum was proud of Zane. She couldn't stop smiling and talking about how good it will be. I can't wait till the baby arrives!! I wonder if Zane and Nana will let me name it!
