Nana's POV:
There were still people in our backyard when the hand on the clock had passed midnight. I was really tired, but so I wasn't being rude to our guests I stayed until the last of them had left.
As soon as they had, I went to my bed and fell asleep. Then I heard something outside my bedroom window. I went over to check what it was and what I had seen was something truly horrendous and amazing. A flash of light. The next thing I knew was that I was gone.
Zane's POV:
I was just sitting outside talking to Garroth until I heard her scream. I ran to our bedroom to see what all the drama was about. When I got there I couldn't find Nana anywhere. She couldn't have just disappeared like that.
Nana's POV:
I woke up in a living room that I was familiar with. I think that this was my childhood home. But why was I back here?? And who had teleported me here?? Well I was about to get all those questions answered because the door had opened and a shadow appeared. I couldn't see who it was because of the pitch black darkness.
???: Oh wow!! I haven't seen you since highschool!! You haven't changed much.
Nana: Who are you??
???: Oh come on!! You must remember me!! We were friends in high school!
(mutters): Well actually more than friends.
Nana: How could I be friends with someone who kidnaps people??
???: Oh I didn't kidnap you, I just wanted to have a talk with you about your future.
Nana: What do you know about my future?
???: Well I know that, that thing growing inside of you plays a major part of your future.
Nana: How do you know about that?!
???: Well I have my ways...
But anyway we've come to talk about you not me. I am just here to tell you that a surprise is coming your way and it won't be pretty.
Nana: TELL ME WHAT THE SURPRISE IS??!!
???: Sorry I can't, only you can.

Nana's POV:
And with that I woke up back in my bedroom. I wondered if that was just a dream or real life. Well it felt like real life...
What was he talking about? What surprise?? I lay there thinking until Zane and Garroth rushed up the stairs and into my bedroom. They both looked at me with confused faces.
Garroth: Wait what?? I thought you had disappeared last night?!
Zane: Yeah but I mean we're happy that you're back but we just wanted to know where you went.
Nana: Well it is quite a long story, but all you need to know is that something bad is going to happen in the future. Something really bad.
Zane: Like what??
Nana: I don't know, but we need to be prepared for whatever happens.
