This is my first ever request!!!!!! I'm so happy and excited to write this one. This was requested by IAmNothing1315 I hope you enjoy this. I am still taking requests. Request info will be at the bottom after the chapter. Oh and this is gonna be a pretty long one.

Reese p.o.v

Alexandria. I've lived here all my life. Ive lived here even before the outbreak happened. It's nice here but sometimes I worry about what would happen if those things came in the walls. Sometimes I worry about the walls coming down. I don't think any if us would be prepared for that. No one here knows how to protect themselves or fight. And that includes me.

Living in here my whole life I never needed to know how to fight. Or how to deal with those things. "Reese!?" I got pulled out of my thoughts, my head moving from the window from the sound of my name being called.

"Yea mom?" I asked as I began my way out of my room and down the stairs. "What's up?" I asked as she worked in the kitchen.

"Could you go get Ron. He was supposed to be back for dinner and your father is gonna be home any minute now." I nod at my mom and walked out the door. I don't get why Ron always does this when he knows how angry dad could get. As I walked through Alexandria a breeze blew my long, dirty blond hair out of my face. And made me shiver a little bit.

After walking for about 10 minutes I spotted Ron with his girlfriend and my best friend Enid. "Ron!" I yelled and it got his attention right away. "Ron mom said you were supposed to be backnfor dinner and dad is almost born lets go! And hi Enid!!" I said waving at her.

"Hi Reese! I'll see you tomorrow?" I nod my head and motioned for Ron to hurry and head home.

"Reese wait up!" He ssud running to my side. "Sorry. I guess I just lost track of time with Enid."

"Its alright. I get it shes your girlfriend and you wanted to spend as much time with her as you could. Just remember shes my best friend. If you hurt her remember that I know where the knives are." I said shoving him and running to the house.

"Not cool Reese!" He said chasing after me. I laughed as I made it inside the house before he did and calmed myself dawn before walking into the dining room. Ron followed my lead once he finally made it into the house.

Walking into the dining room I was happy to see dad still wasn't here. I got Ron back in time. We both took our seats and waited for dad to get back. "Hey Reese do you like my new drawing?" I smiled and looked at the paper Sammy passed to my from across the table.

"Its great Sammy. Your drawings just keep getting better and better." I said with a smile passing it back to him. Just as I did that dad came into the room and began to eat. We were all pretty quiet after that.

"So did you all hear that we might be getting some new people in soon?" I got a little excited about the news dad brought up since I hadn't heard about it. "Aaron was telling me about it the other day. Big group of 14 and a baby."

"A baby?" I asked a little excited. "I haven't seen a baby in so long..." I mumbled and looked to mom who looked just as excited as I was.

"Yea. They shoupd be getting here no later than tomorrow. That is if they're friendly." He said the last part a little harshly. He doesn't really like the idea of more people here and I can tell. I kinda get what he means with the whole of they are friendly I mean we dont know what these people are capable of. But then again if they have a baby how bad can they really be?

We all finished our food in silence after that and headed to our rooms. I was sitting at my window looking out to the night just thinking about the new members we might get. It would be nice to see new faces around here. And who knows there might just be someone my age in that group. It would be nice to make some new friends. "Hey Reese."
