Chapter 3

June 26th

"Only a bit further" Tom whispered still keeping the blindfold on me.

"Just tell where you're taking me Tom" I cried, frustrated I couldn't see. I wore glasses and I hated the fact that I needed them to see so when someone deliberately takes away my vision I get anxious and frustrated easily.

Tom had supposedly been planning this date for ages according to Karla but that still didn't comfort me in the least bit as I still had no clue where I was.

"Okay you can look now" Tom said as we came to a stop.

"Ugh I wish I had worn my contacts this morning" I said as i put on my glasses, my eyes adjusting to the sudden light.
"Oh my... it's beautiful." I gasped taking in my surroundings

We were in a small garden just down past my house and there were fairy lights everywhere. A small table sat right in the middle of the garden with a white table cloth draped over it. On the table sat a silver platter and cutlery.

"You...you did this for me..."

"Of course I did Lottie... I love you" Tom shyly replied.

"You...Uh...you...love....me..." I stuttered, shocked that he loved me.

"Oh you don't have to say it back right now if you don't feel the same but yes I do love you " Tom hurriedly replied

"No it's not that...I was just afraid you didn't feel the same ."

"Oh you scared me for a sec...come here" Tom sighed as he pulled me into a hug.

"Right now...in your arms...I couldn't be happier...I love you" I smiled up to him standing on my tippy toes to pull him into a kiss.

"Come on the food will be getting cold" Tom smiled into the kiss.

Things couldn't be more perfect for the couple until everything suddenly went downhill...
