Chapter 5

i know it's taking quite some time for Emily and Louis' romance to get starting. All i'm asking is for you guys to be patient. really just trying to build it up carefully. It should start from this chapter and so on though :)

CHAPTER 5

The next morning, as soon as I got up, there were already knocks on my doors. Niall and Louis were extra early. I opened the door and they enter. Niall gave me a high five as he walked though while eating Oreos. Louis entered and just grabbed me by the waist as he kissed my cheek.

“I brought you some waffles for breakfast” he whispered into my ear

His warm breath just filling my neck sent chills down my spine.

“thank you!” I smiled and looked at him and his eyes just immediately made my knees go weak.

When it was 3pm. The 3 of us were startled when loud knocks came through my door. When we opened it! Surprise surprise!!! It was Harry, Liam and Danielle, and Zayn and….. ALLY?!?!?!

WAIT WHATTTTTT!

Ally had a huge grin in her face and I just had to drag her out of the group to the balcony

“You have got some explaining to do ms!! What was that I saw?? Were you two actually holding hands??”

“Yup! That’s why I was kind of missing Ems, I’ve been with Zayn. He took me out somewhere really nice and I guess I just fell for him right there and then. “

“ Wow!! I’m happy for the both of you! You are one quick kitty!!!” we both laughed as we entered back the living room.

All of us then decided to play some games and watch a few films.  It was getting late at night and they all just suddenly decided to sleep over my house which was fine. I had a HUGE extra room where all of us ended up sleeping. Danielle and Liam took the bed while Zayn and Ally slept in the other mattress. Niall didn’t wake up anymore and so he was left to sleep in the living room. Louis, harry and I then took the other mattress and slept there.

“Save it fast!!!”I could hear a whisper saying

I moved my arm but didn’t open my eyes.

“Shhh! She’s awake” I could almost swear it was Ally’s voice I heard

I then opened my eyes to find all of them staring at Louis and I on the mattress. It was apparently such a huge issue to them that we were sharing the same blanket

“oooooh, wonder what happened under the blanket” Harry exclaims

By this time, Louis had woke up

“NOTHING happened guys. It just got really cold. That’s all! You sick people!” I retorted as I kicked Louis off.

“Ow!! What was that for!” Louis exclaimed

Everyone then got up and headed for breakfast on the kitchen when we all started talking about going out for lunch. The group had decided Nando’s until -----

“Count out Emily and I” Louis announced.

I was confused. I shot a look at him “What?? Why!”

“’cause we’re going out somewhere” winking at me

“ooh la la! Is there something going on between you two?” Danielle starts teasing us

“NO!” I said right away

Louis shot a confused look

Why was he confused? Of course there was nothing between us.

“I’m taking her out” Louis protests. The whole group reacts into a flury of teases

“You are not! I’m going with them to Nando’s.” I demanded

I saw Louis’ face suddenly turning upset

“No. You’ll be with me” he quickly decides.

He’s definitely getting annoying! Who does he think he is? We just went out to one dinner date and now he decides where I go?? URGH.

“yeah, ems. You two should just go out” Liam encouraged. I shot a look at him and glared at him for a long time

“URGHHHHHH” I stormed out of the kitchen and into my room.  I obviously wasn’t in a good mood

LOUIS POV

What was that? Was she really mad that I insisted I’d take her out?

“ooooh, Louis you better fix that!” Zayn retorts

“Yeah Lou. I think she’s genuinely pissed at you” Ally agreed. “She never walks out of someone unless she’s really mad Lou.” She adds

Oh god. Now, how do I fix this!

EMILY POV

I was sitting on my bed when I heard the door open.

“Ems?” that voice. Louis.

“what do you want?” I roll my eyes

“what’s wrong? Are you really mad at me for asking you out?” He was now behind me and I could just feel his body right behind me. It sends chills down my spine. Why was his presence such a  turn-on?

“I’m mad at you for insisting. You never even asked me beforehand. You can’t just surprise me like that Lou.”

“Well, I thought it would’ve been a nice surprise”

“WELL IT’S NOT. I’m honestly just over with surprises!” I spat out loudly. His face was shocked.

Seriously. Lately I’ve just learned to hate surprises! The last surprise I had turned out to ruin my career and break my heart. I just wasn’t up for any of them anymore

“Ems, I…I’m sorry. I really am.  You know, we can just go to Nando’s with all of them if you want” Louis said apologetically

“It’s fine. You go. I think I’ll just stay home for today”

“But ems—“

“Louis” I turned to look at him in the eye. He looked bloody worried. “Just don’t, please. I just need some time alone”

“Alright.”

LOUIS POV

“Alright” I said as I walked out of her room

What happened? Why was she so upset today? It wasn’t nice seeing Emily like that. I know she’s not my girlfriend and we only went out on a date once, but I already like her. I just feel like I needed to cheer her up. But she wanted to be alone.

What am I to do??

“Hey guys. Ems said we should just go to Nando’s. she’ll just stay home for the day” I announce

“What? That can’t be! I’ll go to---“ Liam exclaims

“Liam just don’t! she said she wanted to be alone. I think she needs time for herself man” I cut him

“I agree. Maybe she just needs to rethink things and look at her life. She’s new around here guys and although this is her home country, she basically feels foreign” Ally said.

She knew what to say, she was Emily’s best friend.

“We should just go.”
