Alec's POV
Since Magnus and I got married, I've honestly never been happier. It is like, no matter if I age and he doesn't, I know he will still be happy with me. All though he may not want to kiss an 80 year old me. I wouldn't want to kiss an 80 year old me. But I know no matter what, if I die of old age or in battle, he'll still love me.
It's been three days since the wedding and Magnus has hand something on his mind. He won't tell me but I know it's bothering him. This morning I saw him sitting at the table just staring off into space with coffee in his hands. I want to help him, I just don't know how. I walked up behind him and set my hands on his shoulders, kissing his cheek."Magnus, are you alright?" I asked for the third day in a row. He just nods his head and drinks his coffee. "Are you regretting our marriage?" I finally ask. He looks at me with the biggest shocked expression, I've ever seen.
"Of course not!" He exclaims.
"Then what is going on." He sighs and turns away from me. "Two days ago you were so happy, and now it's like...your bored of me." He turns back around and grabs my hand.
"I'm not bored of you, I love you. It's just..." He sat staring out at the balcony. "I felt like something bad was going to happen today."
"What? Why?" He shook his head.
"I don't know. I just had a feeling, and the scary part is, their normally right." I looked at him with a shocked expression on my face.
"Then I should get to the institute." He grabs my shoulders and tries to sit me back down.
"No! Don't go!"
"Magnus, if something is going on, I should tell them." He thought for a second. "What?" I asked him as he searched for an answer.
"I'll come with you then." I shook my head.
"If it's as dangerous as you say, then you should stay here." I said getting my cloak on. He shook his head.
"I should at least try to do something and besides your my husband, I'm going with whether you like it or not." He said while crossing his arms. I gave a sigh knowing I couldn't stop him. "Also my magic could at least possible help."
"And your the one who said something bad might happen." He nodded his head and I closed my eyes for a second before nodding. "Alright." I said and he then put on a dark blue and black waist coat, fixing his makeup and his hair before heading out. I rolled my eyes and laughed at how girly he really is, but still masculine. We were about to get into the carriage but Magnus stopped me. He shook his head.
"We might have to portal there." I widened my eyes.
"Portal?" He then looked at me and sighed before opening a...portal that was blue and white.
"It get's you faster from place to place." Then he held out his hand to me. "We are married aren't we?" He asked and I nodded taking his hand. Walking through was scary but at least I had Magnus there with me.
Magnus's POVOnce we got out he felt a little dizzy. I caught him and stood him back up. I nodded but I still held his arm, just to make sure he was ok. As we walked in I kept getting that feeling that something was off. I kept trying to shake it but I could not. I hope everything was ok. Once we got in everything seemed normal. Clary and Jace came up to us and started a conversation about demons being spotted around this area. Then when I looked into the distance I saw one person was out of place. It looked to be Izzy but not Izzy. I looked on the other side of me to see Izzy trying to approach us. Wait. That doesn't look right. I then stopped the one coming to us with putting up my hand in a stopping motion. I tapped on Alec. He looked over at me.
