I see you all bright & shining

You can't see me but I do.

When I look at you, I feel an energy,

I've met disappointments through everyone,

But you are always there,

Inside I am dull did you know,

But I smile when you appear,

I don't fear in the dark when you are there.

My heart is shattered into a million pieces but only you care.

I'll pretend it's fine to keep breathing,

I'll forget about the world that's deceiving, only if I see you come out in the night.

Do you know at times I feel the wind is trying to tell me something?

I haven't figured it out but when that cool air passes through me,

I just want to soar the dark sky, to be free like a bird.

You're the only one that I can trust & tell you all my secrets,

My friend, my knight,

My night Star.
