Chapter 1: Forgive Me
“Gikwang, where would you like to go?” her voice rang in his ears softly. She walked towards him and wore a smile that flustered him. He smiled back, standing up from his seat; he circled his arms around her waist and she placed her arms around her neck.
“You pick. Where do you want to?” he replied, pulling her closer. Sangrae chuckled softly, amused by his skinship whenever they were alone. She rested her head on his shoulder and breathed in his scent. She giggled again.
“Yah~ what’s that? Why are you laughing?” Gikwang curiously asked, looking over Sangrae’s hair. He patted her head with one hand and gestured for them to break apart. Sangrae pulled away and smiled at him.
“Mwoh?” Gikwang asked, his tone inquisitive. Sangrae smiled as she tilted her head to the side.
“It’s nothing,” she replied, hugging him again; he hugged back.
“You really like skinship that much, huh, jagiya?”
“Not really. I just think you’re cute,”
“Cute?” Gikwang grinned and pecked her cheek.
“Ah~ don’t steal kisses,” she pouted and wiped off her cheek.
“Then I won’t steal one if you kiss me,” Gikwang suggested with a wink.
“Ah, you’re taking advantage of me,” Sangrae walked away from him and grabbed her bag.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Gikwang called, slightly amused. Sangrae was kind of cute when she sulked.
“Going home, I guess,” she replied quietly, closing the door slowly as she went out. Gikwang crossed his arms above his chest and leaned against the kitchen counter. ‘Three seconds,’ he thought as he looked at his watch. In less than three seconds, the door opened and Sangrae came in running towards him.
Gikwang grinned. She threw herself in his arms and hugged him tightly.
“Can’t resist me?” he smirked with a smug expression. Sangrae rolled her eyes and buried her face in his neck.
“More like, I’m missing you already,” Sangrae replied. Gikwang happily held her by the shoulders and looked her in the eyes.
“What? Is there something in my face?” Sangrae raised a brow. He ignored her question and continued looking her in the eyes.
“Yah! Gikwang!” she protested. She was starting to feel a little awkward; her cheeks had betrayed her. Her heart throbbed in her chest. She was blushing like mad.
“Kim Sangrae, I love you,” he whispered, his eyes sincere. Sangrae’s eyes widened at his abrupt words. She swallowed when she felt her heart jumping.
“W-Why are you suddenly saying that, huh?”
“Because I love you, and it’s how I feel right now,” Gikwang smiled.
“You’re so mushy-” she was cut off when he gently pulled her close and pressed his lips against hers. Sangrae’s eyes fluttered before closing. She felt her face burning against his skin. It didn’t take long before she finally kissed him back, lightly touching his soft lips with her own. Her stomach lurched and her head cocked to the side as she filled the spaces between her fingers with his tresses. He slowly snaked his hand under the back of her shirt, his hands shaking at his sudden attempt. He pulls away just in time to stop his desire. Sangrae looks at him with concerned eyes.
