"So when is my next appointment?" I asked the doctor who announced that I am pregnant. Nick and I were not trying for a baby so this came as a big surprise to me.

"The next appointment will be in four weeks, seeing that you are only three weeks right now," she answers.

I stare at the screen where my baby was. I could not see much on the screen but at six weeks I will be able to get a sonogram.

"Thank you," I said hopping off the bed and pulling my shirt down.

It was quite chilly outside so the baggy shirt that I was wearing fitted the occasion. I left the doctor's office after making another appointment.

Our driver was waiting outside in the car. I told him I had to do a regular check-up because I did not want to jinx anything.

"Where to Mrs.Smith?" he asked as soon as I entered the car.

"Home."

The ride home was very quiet and I was making up ways in which I should announce my pregnancy to Nick. He loved children so I knew for a fact that it would not be a problem.

As soon as I got home I realized that Nick was not home, so we went to his office. Nick was one of the youngest CEO, he had a chain of restaurants around the world.

"Hey Mrs. Campbell," I greeted the receptionist who was shocked at my arrival.

"Hey darling, what are you doing here?" she says pressing a few buttons on the phone.

"I am here to see my husband," I said continuing my journey towards the private elevator. This elevator led to the exact floor that Nick's office was located in.

I walked towards his office hearing harsh breathing and moans.

What the hell is going on?

I pushed the door open and my heart fell at what I saw happening.

"Nick, what the hell?" I managed to yell as soon as I saw what was happening in front of my eyes. This was a fear of most people and I could not believe it was happening to me.

"A-Amanda?" I stuttered seeing the face of my best friend, or the person who I thought was my best friend.

They stare at me without an ounce of remorse while placing the discarded clothes back on. The stares had started falling from my eyes and Nick glared at me.

Why was he glaring at me? I wasn't the one that got caught cheating.

"How could you have done this to me? Was I not good enough for you?" I cried.

He lets out a laugh as if I said the funniest thing ever.

"Oh please, stop playing the victim because you are not. Do you think I am that naive or stupid? I saw the pictures and found out about your little scheming with my cousin," he shouted at me.

"What are you talking about?" I screamed at him out of frustration.

"You are a whore and a thief admit it," he said getting angry. I step back because I knew he had a temper.

I looked into his eyes shocked at what he just called me. I turned my gaze to see a smirking Amanda, that is when I knew it was her doing.

"I did no such thing," I whispered although I knew he would not believe me one bit.

He walked towards his desk and pulled out a large envelope with some papers in it. He threw the paper at me causing them to fall in front of me.
