mia's b-day part 1

Still lay's p.o.v

I went to mama's house and we went to the back yard and sat in the chairs she had outside.

mama: so who's coming

me: well I know my brother Jay wants to come and tiff is coming and mia's friends

I said bouncing jayden on my lap

mama: what about dj

me:he hasn't called and when mia wanted to talk to him I called him and a girl answered and then when she gave him the phone he said who is it he didn't even have my number saved

she shook her head

mama: that's not right but he is her dad and he should be there

I signed

me:I guess ill call him but he should be callin me he know when her birthday is

mama:I agree

I stood jayden up on my lap

me: do you want daddy to come to sissy party

I said to him and he start cryin I looked behind him at mama and she shook her head

me: daddy's not coming

I said to him and he stopped that's ah damn shame I went in the house and made him a bottle and jayla one to because I know she's gonna wake up soon, I feed him but he didn't go to sleep this time so I took a blanket out side and put in on the floor I grabbed some of his toys so he could play with them.

and sat him in the middle and sat back down

me: you think he'll call

she shrugged, I signed then Jeff brought me jayla who was wide awake I smiled at her and grabbed her an started feeding her she looked at me and I looked at her then she started laughing which made me laugh.

I finished feeding her then mia asked could we go to the park and I said yea since it was around the corner I took the stroller an put jayden in it and put jayla's carseat on the top and hooked it in when it goes and put Their diaper bags at the bottom and we started walking.

me: so you still want a pool party

mia: yea

me: do you want you dad to come

mia:I don't know

me: wanna ask him

she nodded an I called his phone and that girl answered AGAIN

"hello "

me: where dj

"right here"

she said then dj got on the phone

"hello"

"Why don't you ever answer yo phone I don't want to talk to her every time I call"

he smacked his lips

I rolled my eyes and handed mia the phone

mia: hello

mia: are you gonna come

mia: what's coming up

she started crying and I took the phone from her

me:what you do to her

dj:nothin

me:then why she cryin

dj:I don't know

I hung up and sat on the bench and put mia on my lap and rocked her

mia: I said whats coming up an-an he said I dont know

me: don't cry maybe he wants to surprise you

she started sniffing then sat her head up I wiped her tears

me:go play ill talk to him ok

she nodded and walked to the play ground I called dj back.and he answered this time

me:so you dont know what's comin up

"no am I supposed to"

me:yea

"well I don't"

me: look don't get a attitude with me it anit my fault you dont know what's coming up what kind of dad are you an If I call you so mia can talk to you an you make her cry ima make you cry I dont know what's wrong with you but you need to figure it out

I said hanging up what kind of dad forgets there own child's birthday

I was knocked out of my thoughts when my phone started ringing I looked to see who was calling and it was makayla I looked at mia an she was still playing then I answered the phone.

me:hello

makayla:hey what you doin

me:just spending time with my kids

makayla:aww I still remember them from the picture you showed me

me:mhmm

makayla: well speaking of kids I need to talk to you but I want to talk in person

me: well now anit ah good time how bout later

makayla:alright let's say 6:30 at the coffee shop

me:ok

makayla: bye

I hung up an looked at the time

it was 4 we sated at the park till 5 then I took the kids back to her mama's house then went an rented at pool place out and mia a new swim suit.

then went to the store i felt someone looking at me i looked over and it was tyson when he seen i seen him he walked away i grabbed some stuff and walked fast to the cash register an ended up bumping into somebody.

I fell and dopped everything that was in my hand i looked over and he was leaving i looked up to see dj standing there.
