Friday Night

Two hours later, LJ finally woke up. He didnt see Arena next to him. He rubbed his eyes, trying to wake up. There was noise comin from the kitchen. LJ walked and he saw Arena cooking. She turned around and saw him standing there, still half asleep.

"Hey sleepyhead" Arena said

"(yawns) Hey"

Arena turned around, started cooking. She was making spagetti. She added the sauce into the pan amd started mixing. Then grabbed out the loaf of bread and cut it into slices. Then put it into the toaster.

Hour later, dinner was served. LJ set the table and grabbed out the pitcher of ice tea. Arena sat the pot of spagetti in the middle of the table, then grabbed the toast.

LJ took a bite into the spagetti and was shocked. For a girl her age, she can cook. LJ ate all his spagetti like if he hadn't ate spagetti before. Arena laughed at his actions.

"Seconds" LJ asked

"If you like" Arena said while gesturing to the pot.

LJ filled his plate again and munched down. After his third plate, LJ was full. He put is plate into the sink and started washing the dishes. Arena grabbed the pot of spagetti and put the leftovers in a container;even though there wasnt munch left. Arena wiped down the dishes and put them away.

"Arena.. Im gonna go get my things.. you need anything else" LJ asked

"No.. but thanks though.. Ill just get everything ready for our movie night"

"Ok.. see ya in a few"

"Ok"

LJ walked out the door and went into his house. He walked into his house as a happy camper. Only his older brother was home. LJ walked into his room and packed his clothes in a back pack then stuffed the munchies in his bag as well. Then walked back down stairs and sees a note.

LJ

Your father and I are out of town for the weekend. We told Dusty that you'll be staying over at Arena's house. Theres money in your back pack for pizza or something. Have a fun and safe weekend honey.

LJ folded the note and stuffed it into his pocket and walked out. He made his way towards Arena's house.

He knocked on the door and Arena opened it with a smile. LJ followed Arena into the house. He saw the Wii hooked up and the games scattered on the table. There was blankets and pillows.

"What should we do first" LJ asked

"Games?" Arena said

"Ok"

"What game"

"PBR"

LJ opened the case and put it into the gaming system. LJ grabbed the controller and pressed the play button.

Arena sat on the couch watching LJ play the bullriding game. Arena laughed at what he was doing. After he scored he started dancing around. Arena laughed at his little dance.

"I see you like my little dance"

"Its cute.. now my turn" Arena said

Arena scored an eighty nine, a point higher than LJ. LJ pouted his lips pretending to be sad. Arena looked back at him and mocked his look. He smiled at her.

"New game or movie" Arena asked

"Movie.. what you got"

"A lot.. you can pick.. bottom drawer on the entertainment center."

LJ walked over to pick a movie. A picture caught his glimpse. It was a picture from a junior rodeo. It was Arena riding sheep and calves. She never mentioned she rode sheep and calves. Only thing she mentioned was, that she barely started roping.

"Arena whose this" LJ asked

"Uh.. me"

"You never told me you ride"

"Slipped my mind"

"Sure it did"

"It did... now what movie did you pick"

"Eight seconds"

Arena rolled her eyes and smiled. She grabbed the bowl of popcorn and sat next to LJ.

They sat there watchin the movie. LJ tried to be sly and snake his arm around her shoulder. Arena knew what he was gonna do, she scooted closer to him.

LJ and Arena sat there enjoying the movie, when the phone rang. Arena got up and answered the phone.

"Hello"

"Hey honey... hows the sleepover"

"Great mom.. just played video games and now were watchin a movie"

"Oh.. that sounds like fun... well we just wanted to make sure your ok.. and to say good night"

"Yeah... good night mom"

"Good night you two.. see ya sunday"

"See ya mom"

Arena hanged up the phone and sat back on the couch. She cuddled next to LJ. LJ wrapped his arm around her. The movie was coming to an end.

"Arena.."

"Yeah..."

"What do you call this"

"What"

"I mean.. you and me.."

"I have no idea..."

"We do act like a couple.."

"Yeah.. we do.. but are you sure you want it"

"Arena... if I didnt want it.. I wouldnt have asked your parents for permission to take you to a movie and have a sleep over"

"Well.. Im just checkin.. I mean.. we do--"

LJ grabbed her face into his hands and kissed her. Arena let out a breath that she didnt know, she was holdin in. LJ released his lips from hers and looked into her eyes. He smiled and she smiled back.

"Arena.. will you be my girlfriend" LJ asked nicely as he could.

"Yes" Arena said proudly

Arena kissed him again. They turned off the tv and layed down on the livingroom floor. Arena layed on her side, makin eye contact with LJ.

"when are your parents coming back" LJ asked

"Sunday night"

"Oh.. so one more day we can be alone"

"Pretty much.."

LJ wrapped his arm around her and pulled her in. He held close, where she can hear his steady heartbeat. By the sound of his heartbeat, it started to make her sleepy.

An hour later, they both finally fell asleep.
