Juliet ran into her house a scream leaving her mouth causing both her parents to run into the living room to see what was wrong with their daughter. "What's wrong?" Mrs. Sung asked watching as Juliet slipped her shoes off living them by the door.
"Nothing, I'm on the squad!" She screamed out bringing both her parents into a hug. "Today was amazing, after cheer try out's we went to Pop's to eat and Christina- she's the captain said I was definitely in though I'm not really supposed to tell anyone since she still has to make the announcement."
"That's great honey, what do you say you go and finish unpacking your things and maybe if there's time we can go catch a movie to celebrate?" Mrs. Sung said fixing a pillow on the couch, it seemed that her parents had been busy all day unpacking the living room already looking decent. Juliet nodded her head and ran up the stairs, she shut the door to her room and turned the radio on opening the balcony doors to let fresh air in. The music played loudly as Juliet got to work on unpacking her clothes, her bed had been made in the morning after she had finished changing. The first thing Juliet had done the night before was make her bed, put up her curtain and get her bathroom ready before she set out clothes for the following day.
Today Juliet worked on unpacking all of her clothes, accessories and make up. It wouldn't take her long as she didn't like owning too much, that always meant more unpacking and it was tiring when she had to move all the time packing and unpacking.
Juliet had been able to finish packing her things away so once she was done she grabbed her seater turning off her radio and closing the balcony doors. She made her way out of her room running down the stairs to see her parents in the living room watching television. "I'm ready." Juliet said, both her parents turned around to see her standing with her little shoulder bag hanging in front of her. "Maybe we can see a scary movie? I think it's been a while since we've been to the movies."
"We're going to a drive-in honey, I don't think Riverdale has a theater yet." Mr. Sung said getting up taking the keys from the coffee table. "We'll see what movie is playing."
"Yeah, probably one I've already seen." Juliet said following her father out of the house and into the car while her mom worked on locking the door.
"Maybe we'll get lucky and it won't be, you've said it yourself it's been a while since we've been." Mr. Sung said starting the car as Mrs. Sung got in.
"I meant as a family, I've been to the movies without you." Juliet sighed sitting back in her seat and pulling her seat belt on. The Twilight Drive-in wasn't far from the house, it wasn't entirely filled, and Juliet guessed it was because it was Monday, a school night. Juliet's dad found the perfect place to park placing coins into the speaker. "I'll be on the roof." Juliet said opening the car door and stepping out. She placed her shoulder bag on the top of the car and went to the back so that she could climb up to the top. Once she was there she took out her blankets and pillows. When her family owned a truck, they used to go to drive-in's where Juliet would sit in the back but when Movie Theaters started to become more popular, showing multiple new movies at a time that had been were Juliet and her parents would go. There wasn't more need for a truck soon they had to move to England that when her dad sold the truck and they got new car.
