It's Cupid's Fault

Chapter 8: Step 1-2

"Noona..I-um.." Jimin looked at Seulgi nervously, "Jin hyung called me, and he said he needs help. Emotional help if you're wondering."

Seulgi nods in agreement.

"You can go now, I'll pay for everything." Seulgi gave an assuring smile.

"No, I'll pay for it."

"Jimin." Seulgi crossed her arms, "Your hyung needs help right now, I'll pay for this."

Jimin slowly nodded and got his coat before running. But something stopped him, he went back to where Seulgi is standing, confused on why Jimin came back.

"I'm still a gentleman afterall." Jimin winked as she gave his coat to Seulgi. Seulgi stiffened when Jimin hugged her. "Thanks for spending this time with me Noona.."

Just then, Jimin ran out of the store.

Seulgi opened the door leading to her dorm. She was not expecting someone to still be awake, but the she heard soft sobs coming out from the living room.

She slowly removed her disguise and the coat Jimin gave her, before quietly approaching someone who was crying.

"Sooyoung.."

Joy turned her head to her unnie and she immediately hugged her.

"Unnie, I'm sorry that I spied on you and Jimin-sunbae.." She sobbed

Seulgi could only pat the youngers back, before saying that it's fine.

Once Joy was calmed, the pair sat on the coach. It was pure silence that ate them, Seulgi was only waiting for Sooyoung to speak.

"He said that I am a waste of time to be with."

Seulgi whipped her head to the younger before furrowing her eyebrows.

"Who the hell told you that?"

"Jin oppa." Then Sooyoung started crying all over again. "Is it bad that I only wanted to spend time with him? Does he not know that saying that being with me is a waste of time, really offended me? Not because it's true, but because it came from his mouth. The person I liked freakin told me to not dare ask him to hang out. I still have feelings Unnie, and unfortunately, I do have feelings for him."

Seulgi widen her eyes in shock, but that wasn't helping. She engulfed Joy with her warm embrace as Seulgi told her what Joy has told her before.

"Just cry.."

Jimin went to the park Jin told him to go. He witnessed the elder sitting at a swing, staring at nothing. He carefully took his steps and sat beside his hyung.

"I'm so mean." Jin said as he took a big gulp from a bottle of pure soju.

"Hyung." Jimin wanted to grab the bottle of soju from his hyung, but Jimin saw that Jin needs this, he just looks so.. stressed.

"I hurt her Jimin-ah." The younger widen his eyes when he saw Jin crying. "I was too harsh. I want to bring back time, I'm such an idiot, such a jerk. I would feel the same if somebody told me that being with me is a waste of time. Jimin, what can I do? I want to spend my time with her though.."

Jimin patted Jin's shoulder, "Is it Sooyoung-ssi?"

Jin nodded and another tear fell from his cheeks.

"How about apologizing to her?"

"What if she doesn't accept it? I'll look like a fool."

"Atleast you tried approaching her, nevertheless apologize."
