It's Cupid's Fault

Chapter 1: Letter

"Annyeong!" Seulgi smiled at the fan infront of her.

Red Velvet was holding a fan meeting and it's going smoothly. The girls didn't really expect much people to come. They still can't believe they had recieved tons of loves in their country and many more. And as a thank you, they do their best in performing and entertaining their beloved fans.

The girl looked up and was met by Seulgi's eye smile. As a fan, she immediately gave a small smile.

But on the other hand, Seulgi felt odd. She didn't want to mind it, but when their eyes landed on each other, she felt this kind of vibe. Seulgi herself can't explain her feeling. She eventually recovered and asked for the girl's name again.

Instead of answering her idol's question, she placed a folded letter with Seulgi's name written at the right bottom. Seulgi took the letter and kept in her pocket. She didn't want to place the letter on the table since sometimes the staff throws some of it.

"It's Yumi.." the girl then replied. Seulgi signed her album. Seulgi then offered her hand which made Yumi confused but then realized what it was.

"Nice to meet you Yumi." Seulgi gave her an eye smile once again.

"Unnie!" Yeri boomed their whole apartment as she ran down the stairs. The maknae was holding up a light weight light blue dress.

"Isn't nice?!" Yeri smiled as she eyed her two unnies Sooyoung, Seungwan. "It is." Seungwan smiled. "From a fan?" Sooyoung asked. Yeri nodded still smiling.

On the other hand, Seulgi just took a shower. She was drying her hair and was about to walk out the room when saw Irene carrying the laundry basket.

'The letter!' Seulgi hurriedly ran to Irene which made Irene starled.

"You-!" Irene felt her heart dropping. Seulgi whispered a 'sorry' which Irene just nodded to. Seulgi found her dark blue skinny jeans and immediately pulled the letter from the pocket and sighed in relief.

"Dinner's ready!" Seungwan shouted from the kitchen. Irene and Seulgi looked at each other and made way to their way to the kitchen.

"Why don't you just read it?" Seulgi looked over Sengwan's bed and witnessed the girl comfortably sitting on her bed while holding a book.

'Right. Why don't I just read it?' Seulgi thought as she opened the letter.

Seulgi then witnessed a beautifully written letter.

Dear Seulgi,
                       I still can't belive that I'll be able to see you, but here you are reading my letter. Just like a fan, I will tell you how much inspiration you are for me. I will always support you in your decisions, because that's what fans are supposed to do..

Seulgi proceeds to read the letter, ignoring the fact that the kind of vibe was slowly coming back.

If ever you're tired, I'm sure that someone will be there for you. That someone will always comfort you, and will be with you even through hard times. And if ever your carrer's at stake, I advice you to continue to have that someone by your side because..

Seulgi was now reading the last phrase. She was starting to have goosebumps.
