Chapter 16: On the Rescue

I need to check something outside." Namjoon unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the door.

"What's his problem?" Seungwan asked.

Hoseok shrugged, "He does that in some occasions, either he's irritated or, he just really needs to check if something's up."

"I think maybe it's because of the traffic." Yeri hesitantly suggested.

"Agreed." Sooyoung responded, "I mean, we've been here for hours!"

The two maknaes recieved agreements and the van was back to silence.

"I'm actually beginning to believe on Jimin even more." Joohyun says as she fiddles with her fingers.

"I'm glad we let him go ahead." Jin added.

"I just hope we really did the right decision." Yoongi stated, "I hope he can save her in time."

"We hope."

Jimin removed the heavy helmet from his head before finally scanning the gloomy environment he was at. It bothered Jimin thinking that Seulgi might be inside the abandoned building, hurting, crying, before his eyes.

Jimin didn't heard any from his members except for Teahyung who has been sending him multiple texts such as, "where are you?" "Are you finding her already?" "Text me immediately if something happens okay?" "Traffic sucks."

Jimin was thankful he has a friend like Taehyung, even though Taehyung can be weird and playful at times, he can be a real friend to rely on too. Just wish Joohyun Noona knows about that. Jimin thought but stopped when he reminded himself to focus and save Seulgi.

He needs to save her. And he will.

He just couldn't imagine Seulgi getting hurt. She's too precious to get hurt. And so he took all his courage and walked towards the building.

"Hello?" He yelled. The echoes of his own voice send chills down his body, since he is a scaredy-cat, but he's too scared to admit.

But this isn't about him. It's about him saving Seulgi. And right now, that's all that matters.

"Hello?" He once again shouted, walking up the rusty staircase.

Alas, he was at the very top floor. It was the same as the other floors he has been. The same old, scary, creepy atmosphere circulating the floor.

"Hello?" He yelled, hoping to hear a response.

"h-hello?" A small voice responds.

Jimin widen his eyes when the voice seems to come from a corner of the room. "Hello?" He yelled.

"Help me please." The voice says, cracking at the end of her statement.

Jimin ran towards the corner of the room and was greeted by Seulgi.

She looked, hideous. She has bruises on her legs and arms. Her hair was a mess. Her skin was pale. But most of all, she wasn't wearing a gracious smile.

"Noona!" He suprisedly reacted.

"Jimin-ah." Her voice became more weak, as Seulgi tries to walk towards the younger, a small glint on her eyes can be seen before her lips creeping up a small smile. "Thank you"
