Chapter 13: Lost Stars

"We'll be going for a few minutes, Seul." Wendy informed before grabbing her purse and walking towards the door.

"Oh." Wendy noticed the concerned look Seulgi made, she sighed and finally decided to approach her still broken-hearted friend.

"Hey," Seungwan frowned, "what's wrong?"

"It's just," Seulgi made a long pause before continuing, "what if he shows up?"

"Then ignore him." Seungwan smirked before holding Seulgi's shoulder as they look at the mirror infront of them, "He doesn't deserve your attention because he had hurt you, whether it's intentional or accidental."

"I mean look at you! You look gorgeous, and that's enough for you to show him that after all these months, you moved on and what he did made you stronger."

Seulgi smiled, "thanks."

"No problem." Seungwan winked, "I'll be heading out, I'll wait for you."

Once the door shuts close Seulgi stood up as she examined herself. The white fitted dress made her curves show more, and her straight black hair made her look more elegant. Her makeup was light but her red lips make it pop up the crowd.

She heaved a deep breath before reminding herself that what Wendy said to her earlier is true, and that she is stronger, braver and better.

The loud music boomed throughout the whole mansion where in idols from different groups are gathered to celebrate an event congratulating one another for working hard the past few months.

It was normal for idols to throw parties because somehow, they're still human and that means they have the right to have fun and interact with fellow idols, without feeling scared that other people might see them.

Red Velvet walks into the mansion and all of them smiled and the gust of excitement was quiet obvious, especially when the maknaes screamed when they saw their girl-friends, Gfriend and Twice if ever you're wondering.

"Hey!" Seulgi turned her head and saw her friend, Kim Jongin, or is known as Kai of a popular boy-group called EXO. "I didn't think you'd make it." He smiled.

"But now I'm here." Seulgi sarcastically responded leading Kai to frown.

"You look great." Kai complimented and Seulgi could only give a small smile. "Thanks." She asnwered.

"You look great yourself too." She added.

"I know I am." He laughed but got his composure once he saw a figure nearing the two, Seulgi giggled when Kai just can't seem to ignore the girl's presence and so she patted his friend's shoulder, "Go and talk to her. Stop being a coward." She advised.

"Roger that!" Kai saluted and immediately pushed the crowd away just to approach the girl he has been admiring.

Seulgi watched Kai approach her sunbae, which was Krystal of f(x), she chuckled when Jongin was so akward in talking with her, so akward that she can feel the cringe crawling up her skin, but it was rather cute if one will ask.

Just as Seulgi was about to turn her heels to find her fellow members, or her friends to socialize, she bumped into a hard warm chest and that led her to fall on her back.

"Ouch." She touched her lower back as she groans, the bright light of the chandelier was bothering her eye-sight but that didn't bother her in seeing a hand offering a help which she willingly took.
