Chapter 4: Mom

The Year 2030

Ellie POV

I woke up at my Aunt Lily and Uncle Marshall's apartment. Dad dropped me off here last night to go get Aunt Robin back. I hear my Aunt Lily on the phone: "oh that's great, yeah yeah I'll take her to school, yes I will tell her, bye Barney." When she hangs up she comes into the room. "Hi Ellie um I'm gonna take you to school and your dad will pick you up he said he loves you and will see you later."

"Okay. Aunt Lily did he say if Aunt Robin will be there?"

"Yes, sweetie she'll be there."

"Good."

5 hours later

Ellie POV

School is over and I don't se- wait there he is! "Dad!"

"Hi munchkin, sorry about-"

"No don't apologize. You guys are together right?"

"Yeah sweetheart we are together."

"Then I believe you should be thanking me."

*he laughs* "Thank you."

*Robin gets out of the car* "yes thank you" she says.

I run up to hug her and everything seems right especially when my dad tells me that they are getting married again and that she will be my new mom.
