Chapter 3: A Story In Reverse

The year 2045

Ellie came out of her room with a sad face and her black dress. She took a cab to Luke's apartment, they were all meeting there. Ellie knocked on the door to a sad and distraught Penny.

"Hey sweetie. Are you gonna be okay", asked a worried Penny.

"Yea I'll be fine...can we just go? I want to get this over with."

"Sure. Marvin! Luke! Daisy! Rose! come on it's time to go."

The young gang poured into a cab. When they reached the church they were overwhelmed by all of the people. Relatives. Friends. They all ran up to pay their respect.

"Ellie. Hi. um how've you been sweetheart?" said a concerned attendee of the sad event.

"What do you think? My parents just died!"

"Yes but sweetie at least they were together, and it happened so fast and peacefully."

Ellie POV

As she said that I thought back to that one day in 2030 when I finally got to call my Aunt Robin mom....

A/N: I was going to end it with the epilogue from the last chapter but your comments kept me going. I wasn't sure about this but I thought the story would be cool from Ellie's POV so let me know what you think!
