The Muffler (Kidnapped)

Ryuji's P.O.V
*Dreaming back when he's still 7 years old*

I was sitting on a swing at a certain park, all alone whilst crying in a cold night.

When suddenly, a girl in my age approached while carrying some grocery and shopping bags.

"What's a kid doing here out at night alone?" She asked, sitting on another swing next to me. Such Ironic statement. Even though she's a kid herself.

I sniffed, not giving a reply and still looking down the ground. She sighed and stood up, kneeling in front of me while flashing a bright smile. "Cheer up okay?" she unwrapped the muffler around her neck and leaned closer, wrapping it on me instead. "It's warm." I mumbled, fascinated by her actions.

Who's this girl anyways?

"Let's go?" She held my hand, pulling me up.

Why's she treating me so kindly?

"Tell me where your place is." We walked hand in hand. "Just around that corner. I hate that house." I mumbled the last part.

"It's dangerous at night so don't go hanging around by yourself."

"Why are you acting like a grown up? You're a kid too you know... And a girl." I stopped walking.

Before she could even speak, the whole scene turned white and blank, slowly fading out without even having a chance to take a look at her face for the last time.

*End of the dream*

I regained consciousness, opening my eyes. Strange, I can't remember who's the girl in that dream. I sat up on my bed, removing the cooling pad on my forehead. "You're awake." Her right palm's placed on my head. "Here take a medicine." She handed me a glass of water.

'Ah that's right, (Y/n) took me back.'..... 'This is somewhat familiar.'

"Thanks." I inserted the pill in my mouth, pushing it down my throat by the glass of water.

She sighed deeply in relief.

"You know what...... You really scared the hell out of me!!! What the heck are you doing passing out like that?!! I bet you did something again didn't you?!" She started scolding me while wearing a hysterical expression.

"Stop shouting at a sick person you stupid woman." =_=💢 I replied.

"I see that you're feeling fine, speaking like that to your saviour." She said in a dark tone, pulling and twisting my ear. "I don't know what's the reason behind the dreadful experiences you went through to be honest, but don't be too hard on yourself." She started talking like a mother.

"Ouch. damn it. That hurts!"

She released me and flicked my forehead as she continued to nag.

"Tch. Whatever." I flopped down the bed, rolling and turning my back at her. "Don't get yourself too involve--" ...

"Ah, someone's ringing your door bell. I'll go take a look." She paused from nagging, tucking me tight under the covers before she went and check the person.

Don't go..

"What the hell did my subconscious mind just thought?" I stuffed myself comfortably in the sheets, blood rushed on my cheeks, and my temperature goes warmer, boosting my fever up.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V
He has some dark hair and red eyes, opposite to Killua's... But it's like he's kinda similar to him...

"Wait... Why do I always end up comparing the two?" I went to the living room, about to open the door when a familiar muffler by the small table caught my attention...

I shrugged it off and twisted the door slightly opened.

A hand immediately crept in like in some horror movies, forcing the door to completely open. "I've come to take you back." A lonely pair of sapphire eyes pierced right through me. [A/N: pic ☝🏻️]

"Eh?? Killua?..wai—" He didn't waste any time. The arrogant male instantly pulled and lifted me up, carrying me on his left shoulder like a sac of rice, leaving Ryuji's door automatically shutting closed.

"Don't resist. I'm kidnapping you." The expression in his eyes turned rough.

He walked casually to his place which's just meters away, planning on confining me there.

"You're shameless! I'm looking after a sick friend of mine, so.. if you don't mind!—"

"I do mind-"

"Put.. me.. down before I start hitting you-"

"Beat me up as much as you like so you'd be responsible for nursing after me."

"You're the one asking for it! Bold of you to say I'd take responsibility for that!-"

"Then... Did he said you're responsible for his state?"

"Killua!!"

"If his condition got worse due to your absence, I'll do the honors to run him to the hospital and pay for the bill-"

"You're such a brat!!"
