Forgotten Past

'BEEP!!'

"Stupid!"

Someone grabbed your arm and judging from his rough manner of speaking, it was none other than the certain dark-haired male. He was doing his afternoon routine, jogging. Luckily, he ran on the same spot where you coincidentally showed up and he saved you just in time.

Both of you miraculously survived. The truck managed to turn at the opposite direction and changed its track, leaving without even bothering to ask for an apology nor have checked on you guys even just for a minute.

You were almost one step to death at that moment.

The incident was enough to trigger your brain as you regained all the forgotten past. Those different memories occurred and rolled like a film in your mind.

'Yuu-chan!' you ran towards the certain kid and jumped on him, giving him a big hug.

'(Y/n) let's meet again someday.' The seven year old boy gave you a ring.

'(Y/n)! Listen to me, it's for your own sake. We're leaving this place and it's not good to get into an attachment with a person you'll never see again!.' Your father scolded while he forcefully dragged you in the car and started driving away.

'NO!' You desperately begged.

It's obvious he's feeling off and all stressed out, taking the steam out on you. 'I want Mom!' You cried.

He accelerated the car with head directed to you. 'Forget all abou--'

*BEEP!!* CRASH!!*

You're in a white room, barely conscious but can hear two persons having conversations.

'She has an amnesia?' Your mother cried. 'What about my husband??'

'I'm sorry ma'am but he didn't make it. He's dead.'

She sniffled and wiped her tears. 'It's alright, It's for the best.'

'With this... He wouldn't bother us anymore... He wouldn't harm us again.' She mumbled, coughing out her muffled cries....

And with that, you closed your eyes, falling back to sleep.

All these things flashed back in just a minute, overwhelming and making you faint as a pair of arms caught you supportingly.

"Hey!..."

"(Y/n)..." You can hear his voice slowly fading.

Not knowing that the silverette ran after you and saw the horrifying scene. Strength sapped out from his knees, kneeling down the ground as his heart stopped beating for a second. Tears pricked on the corner of his eyes, he thought he was gonna lose you and it scared him to death.

He picked himself up, wanting to go badly on your side, he just needed to...

but then...

He realized there's already somebody who's doing what he's supposed to do.

His fists were clutched tightly, holding back.

You were saved by Ryuji and he was really grateful for that. He turned around, sighing deep and heavily. It pains him to walk away, knowing that he's leaving you in his care.

Now he's the one who will endure. Feeling powerless against his cruel fate. The past dreadful emotion he felt with his first lover, slowly consumes him once again.
