Elizabeth's POV:
Even though I wanted to ignore Ben so badly. I couldn't stop myself from staring at him during class. I thought we weren't going to say anything but I was wrong.
"I'm sorry about yesterday, I had to leave in a rush" was all he said. "Oh really?", I asked. "So you expect me to believe you after I saw you rush off like that", I told him angrily. At that point, I turned my body to face him but the minute I did. He looked up and I saw his beautiful hazel eyes. I stared at him for a moment until I stood there waiting for his response.

Ben's POV:
The minute she turned to face me, I looked up at her and saw her beautiful face. Even though she was upset, her beauty enhanced more. She looked at me before she positioned her body straight and waited for my response.
"I really had to leave yesterday. I didn't want to go but my father kept calling me to hurry home", I lied. I couldn't tell her that my driver came to fetch me due to my father's orders. I remembered the argument I had with him last night during dinner. "Why did you ask the driver to fetch me father?". "I had to work on something after school, the teacher assigned us partners. Though the assignment isn't due till Friday, I already made plans with my partner to work on it after school. I had to ditch her. I feel horrible father. I don't like breaking my word", was all I said. "Ben, you could have gone to do your assignment with your partner. As long as your driver was there. He is also your bodyguard. You should know better. Be grateful I allowed you to study at that school. Now sorry you broke your word. Tomorrow try making it up to her. I will tell Mike to pick you up when you text him", was all my father said.
"Sorry. And thank you father" was I said. Those were the only words I was able to form out of my mouth. I feared my father so I didn't want to push the topic.
After remembering what happened last night. I faced Elizabeth. "Let me make it up to you after class. I am truly sorry about yesterday. It won't happen again. May you please say yes? We can go to the beach today and take pictures. I know a great spot then after we can grab something to eat. What do you say?". I stood there looking at her expression, waiting for an answer.
"Okay", was all she said before she turned around and faced the teacher. Yes! Hopefully I can get to know her better.
