Rising with Rage

Athena sat up to a pouding, throbing, pain that seized her mind. She tried to open her eyes, annoyed by the force presence she felt. Of all the people to be stuck in a prison cell with, it had to be her- Athena thought to herself as she opened one eye.

"Athena? Athena are you okay?" Raven chattered, rather cheerfully after just being thrown into a prision cell. 

"Why did it have to be you?!" Athena muttered to herself as she propped herself against the wall and covered her injuried eye with her hand.

"How are you feeling?" Raven continued.

Athena hesitated, reminding herself that she was sitting in prision with Raven freaking Kenobi. 

"I feel like I just got a Star Destroyed dropped on me- yeah, I'm perfectly fine Raven." Athena snarled.

Raven cocked her head to the side, narrowing her gaze as she looked to Athena. Regretfully, Athena gave a grimacing look to Raven as she rolled her head to face her.

"You guessed right, a Star Destroyer did drop on you." Raven explained with a smile.

Athena sat up from the wall, throwing her hands in the air.

"What do you mean 'a Star Destroyer dropped on me'?" Athena yelled, her voice fueled with rage. 

It took all her will power to not just choke the life out of Raven right then and there. She hated Raven just as much if not more then she hated Raven's brother, Obi-Wan. 

"Well you see, I followed you ship here thinking you could use an extra hand as this was going to be a difficult mission. When I arrived, you were ingaed in a heavy battle, nearly taking out all the assassins and bounty hunters. All of the sudden, a Star Destroyer fell from the sky on top of you. When I recovered your body, you were out cold. Only the cut on your face to sufice." Raven elaborated.

"It just fell from the sky?!" Athena sacasrically questioned.

"Pretty much. The rescue team should be here any day now. After all, the distess signal was sent a few days ago." Raven answered her.

Athena's eyes widened as she repeated the words 'a few days ago' in her head.

"Wha- What? A few DAYS ago? I don't remember any of that!" Athena snapped.

"After I heroically saved you, I tried to get a ship to get us out of there but we got captured. You've been out for a few days now." Raven almost seemed to cheer.

"Why are you so happy?! We are STUCK in a PRISON and it's ALL YOUR FAULT!" Athena roared, her voice echoing off the walls.

Raven shuttered, turning briefly away from Athena. Trying hard not to release her emotions, Athena clenched her fist as felt the veins in her neck appear.

"You don't have to be so mad all the sime." Raven murmured.

Athena shot the death stare at Raven as she got to her feet. Pacing back and forth, Athena shook with pure rage and hate for Raven. 

"When we get out of here, I'm going to kill you." Athena threatened.

"Killing ins't the Jedi way." Raven taunted, knowing exactly how to uncorck Athena's rage.

"Don't test me or you will regret it." Athena mumbled in a dark, low voice.

Raven stood and walked over behind Athena. 

"You are exactly like your brother you know. Hostile, angry, and non compliant to the ways of the Jedi." Raven retorted.

Athena turned and punched Raven in face as hard as she could. Raven stood there, looking back into Athena's cold, blue eyes. 

"I hate you more then I hate your brother and that's saying a lot. I stongly suggest you shut up and get away from me before I kill you right here, right now." Athena growled.

Raven tilted her head up, her redish, blondish, brown hair flipped as she did so. Her gray eyes mimicked her eyesbrow as she raised it. 

"You could really use a hairbrush, Athena. Having those messy curls of yours doesn't help." Raven analyzed.

"I'm sorry, I'm not the MORON  that got us stuck here!" Athena yelled.

Seeing the smirk that stretched across Raven's face made her blood boil. Athena cracked her knuckled and walked closer to Raven. Noticing the look in Athena's eye, Rvaen stumbled backwards, desperatly trying to get away from here.

"All you are is a poor excuse of a Kenobi. You want so badly, more than anything, to be just like your brother but your not and you never will be. He is supiror to you in every way- he is a Jedi Master and one of the best swordsmen. You will never reach his level no matter what you do. I know exaclty what your trying to do here. You want me to teach you so you can feed of my power well that's not going to work." Athena boomed.

A single tear fell down Raven's cheek as she hit the wall. Athena towarded over her as she straightened her posture and shoved Athena.

"And you will never hold the title that your brother does. The call the hero instead of you and you can't stand it. That's why your so bitter all the time. You might be far more powerful then he is, both in the force and with a lightsaber, but you can't even share a last name with him for fear people would figure out who you really are." Raven shouted.

Athena shoved Raven back, reaching out in the force and chocking her without the use of her hands. 

"I could stop your heart, just by thinking about it. That's how strong I am with the force. If I loose control of my powers, any slight thought about you that irritaes me could result in your death. For your sake, I sugesst you stay away from me and my brother. If you so much as speak a word to him, I will take your head off in front of Yoda, Windu, anyone who is there." Athena whispered coldly as she released Raven. 

Gasping for air, Raven slumped back against the wall. She made a mental note to never make Athena mad like that before. Raven and Athena were used to spending a lot of time together- forced time. As their brother's were good friends, brothers all most. Athena never refered to them as brothers as that translated into Athena being Raven's sister and she'd die before that happened.
