Eva's POV

I knew the cocktail hour had begun meaning we had around a hour and a half to get the perfect pictures.

"Honey, let's get the pictures done already."

"Hunter please. I want this pictures to be perfect my love." I smiled. Gosh this man.

With my hair fixed and makeup touched up be began the semi-gruelling process of photos, however whenever Hunter and I got close my smile seemed to perk up and come so naturally. I loved the feeling I had when I was near him. I love everything about him.

The time of poses, smiles, and a few kisses ended. The wedding party lined up and the DJ began calling out everyone's name.

"Finally let's make some noise for Mr. and Mrs. Rowland!!!!!"

Hunter and I partied our way into our wedding. Oh the joy the night would hold. We went and sat down as my maid of honor began the champagne toast marking the end of the cocktail hour. Hunter took my hand as we took the floor.

"The bride and groom will now dance for the first time as a married couple."

Our song, Yours by Russel Dickerson, came on and Hunter pulled me close.

"This is it baby doll. I cannot believe this is real. Your my freaking wife. Wow. I'm married. I'm freaking married." Hunter whispered in my ear. I laughed at his realization. He spun me as we kept swaying to the song.

Hunter pulled me in again as he sang to me:

"But I came to life when I first kissed you

The best me has his arms around you

You may me better than I was before

Thank God I'm yours"

Hunter spun me again as the song began to come to a end, then looked at me and placed a sweet kiss onto my lips. We went to go and sit down. Dinner was now served and I was starving. Hunter looked me up and down "God damn. I fucking won in the wife department." I playfully shoved him as I giggled.

After dinner we began walking around table by table talking and taking photos with each guest.

After what seemed like forever, my wonderful maid of honor, Alyse came up and said, "Alright everyone! I have the great honor today to be Eva's maid of honor and I could not be happier for my best friend, yet I also feel overwhelmed with emotion at the thought of Eva asking me to give a speech. Here we go...so this lovely lady I have had the honor to be the best friend of since elementary school, and let me tell you all that we have had our fair share of memories. However I am not here to reminisce on the past; I am here to look to the future and merely peak into the past to give some good advice for the happy newlyweds.

I remember it was in 10th grade. Eva and I had our share of fights and ups and downs throughout our friendship, especially in high school. I had taken a sweater from Eva and returned it with a hole, and I still apologize about it. Haha. Anyway, it was final exam week, Eva's parents were having issues, and I had to top it off with this. Long story short, Eva and I fought and I realized how strong and resilient she is. Eva has endured so much in her short life, yet I admire her so much. Eva is very stubborn, sorry Hunter. Eva is hard-headed. Eva is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. So I leave some tips and advice for you lovebirds.

Hunter:

Keep communication open, and try not to get hella frustrated when something gets miscommunicated. Love her like there is no tomorrow, and when you can just tell her how good she is doing because I know how much the little things mean to her.

And Eva, my dear friend:

I know it may be hard, but talk to your husband! I know you keep your feelings in, but it is okay to cry, and be frustrated as long as you work though the sadness and hurt together. Please keep being extraordinary and tough. Love Hunter like you do with every new face you meet.

I love you so much! To the bride and groom!"

Everyone rose their glasses to a toast. A few more speeches went on with feelings and flashbacks similar to those prior, then it came.

"Now as some may know the bride's father could not be here with us today, so we thought she was not going to dance, however Eva was quite adamant about dancing, so we have here the favorite photo of her and her father and she is now doing to dance with her father."

I took the large frame and faced it out for all to see.

The song Daddy's Little Girl by Al Martino came on. It was my dad's favorite song to sing to me as a little girl. I swayed along to the beat and around a minute in my brother came and took the frame away from me.

"Here Eva, let's dance." Drew said pulling me into a swaying dance. I was crying.

"Sweet baby Drew. I love you." I said looking at him. He wiped my tears with his thumb.

"That's what dad used to do." I smiled.

"Yeah I remember sister." He said spinning me.

"You are going to make a great husband someday Drew."

"Oh I hope."

"You remind me so much of dad buddy," I said placing my head on his shoulder, "You are so caring, and compassionate, yet so protective. You do what you think is best for everyone in the situation. You are so logical. I can't believe you are graduating next year!"

"Eva stop you are gonna make me cry." Drew said swaying me to the music.

"I love you Drew. I don't say it enough." I looked up at him.

"I love you too Eva Claire." Drew said as the song ended.

The sweet slightly tear filled eyes dances continued as Hunter got up to dance and you went to sit down.

Dances went on, tears shed, and smiles grew.

"Alright everyone to the dance floor!" The DJ yelled. Everyone scurried to hug Hunter and I and dance around us. The songs went on, people began to leave, the partier got harder until it was time for our send-off.

Our car was brought around and everyone lit off sparklers and Hunter and I ran through the crowd like we were the only two people in the world. Cheers erupted and Hunter lifted me up bridal style and placed me carefully into the car, we took a look behind us and began to drive off, waving to those we left.
