-Mya's POV

After knocking on the door, Jace walked in. He smiled, like always, when he saw me and of course i returned it.

"Are you readyyy?" He questioned, dropping himself on my bed and getting comfortable.

i playfully scoffed, "Wow no hug? And as you can tell I'm not ready yet, i still have to tame this jungle of curls on my head."

"Keep it down. i like it like that,"Jace commented, making me smile. Sigh. He's always finding a way to put a smile on my face.

i took his advice and kept it down and soon we were on our way out of the house. Jace opened my door, which i always thank him for.

Over the many months that we've been together, he still remains the gentleman that he was at the beginning which I'm incredibly grateful for.

We're currently on our way to meet up with a few friends. Some of Kayla's and some of mine. Most importantly, I'm meeting the guy Kayla has been talking to for about 2 and a half months.

She hasn't told me his name or anything- for whatever the reason i don't know. All i know is that she invited him and his brother.

We're all meeting up at the local movie theater. i honestly don't even know what movie we're watching but after that, i think we're going to the mall.

Makayla spent the night with one of her friends who's coming as well so that's why she wasn't home.

After 20 minutes of driving and Jace making random life comments, we pulled up to a semi-full parking lot. i scanned the lot trying to find Kayla's Jeep when i remember that she rode with her friend. Mental facepalm.

"Where is she?" i mumbled to myself. Jace suggested that i call her which would've been the smart thing to do in the first place.

She picked up after the second ring, "Hello?"

"Hey, where'd you guys park? We're here already."

She nervously chuckled, "Oh so you see..we haven't left the house yet."

"Kayla! Dude are you kidding me? Why? We might miss the movie- even though i don't know what we're watching."

"i know, i know. We're heading out the door right now. The boys decided to catch a ride with us at last minute,"she replied. i told her okay and to hurry and we hung up.

i didn't notice that Jace had already parked the car. i almost forgot! i pulled my phone back out and texted my friend Jasmine to ask where her my other friend Lia were.

Soon Jasmine's car pulled up to our left followed by a black BMW on our right, which i didn't think anything of since I've never seen it before.

Before Jace could get out, i carefully opened my door and walked over to Jasmine's car. Jace playfully glared at me as i passed him.

Jasmine got out and immediately, we tackled each other in a hug. "Missed you bitch,"she mumbled into my hair.

i returned the comment and her and Jace greeted each other.
