Naruto yawned, uncharacteristically tired at his training. The fox seemed to enjoy torturing him physically, and thus went back to his "sadistic sensei" personality, which made him wonder if his bijū was bipolar or has a mood disorder.
It was around noon, and he wasn't in the mood to train. He could read books, but he thought that they could wait. Honestly, he felt lazy today; the fox must be rubbing off on him.
His mind wandered to the compound. The only places he went was the library, the master's bedroom, the library, and the kitchen. Other than those four, the other rooms were discarded.
With that thought in mind, he smirked, ultimately deciding to explore the house after eating his lunch.
...:::*:::...
His footsteps echoed, especially when the soles of his shoes hit the squeaky floorboards. To say he was surprised was an understatement. He thought that the attic, just like the other rooms in the house, were sealed as well. But then, his parents may have neglected the attic and didn't pay it a heed.
Standing in front of the door, he twisted the doorknob, only to have it stuck. His eyes widened as he found a blood seal in front of it. He smeared his blood on the door, forcing it open.
Dust, dirt, and grime greeted him as he pushed the attic's door with more force than necessary, breaking it down. The hinges were rusty and obviously not maintained, so of course, it was bound to be broken at some point.
Naruto trudged through the place, his eyes glancing around in pure curiosity. It was filled with old, torn-up books and boxes full of ancient things; heirlooms, eh supposed, as he gently picked up a dull sword on one corner of the room.
As he wandered around the large room—since when are attics this large?—he found his predecessors' journals and handwritten books, some of which he had been dying to read. He tucked them on a rickety, wooden table and chuckled as he spotted a boot resting on the surface.
He also found a book about herbs, how it was there, he didn't know. Shrugging in amusement, he placed it next to the journals, only for a few seconds later to come back with two leather-bound notebooks in his hands.
"U.K.M." were engraved on the first notebook's front, and he supposed that "U" stands for Uchiha and "M" stands for Minato. The "K" was quite interesting as eh didn't know what it meant. The second had "S.U.K." on its front, and he knew they stood for "Senju-Uzumaki Kushina".
His parents' journals were in the attic. His ancestors' items were in it as well. Heirlooms from different clans littered around.
That only meant one thing; the room was not an attic, it was a historical room, blatantly showing his ancestors' items.
...:::*:::...
After grabbing the things on the table, he cleaned them first in the living room, then locked himself up in the master's bedroom. He decided to peek at his parents' journals at first, the others could come later.
"Hn, tou-san's writing is elegant, mother's is curly and sophisticated," he said to himself.
Hello, my name is Uchiha-Kuroshi Minato. I am of six years of age, and I am the second prince of Yamishio, and third in line for the throne. I have four siblings; two older than me and one younger.
