(I know this is a straight ship but it's kinda cute so here we go)

Sugawara P.O.V.

It took years,pretty much past her high school life until she said yes. Yachi really didn't want to marry early.

It never stopped me.Every single year she would reject me kindly at my proposal. But every year I persisted,until she said yes.

That day she walked down the aisle,her hair (that had grown longer) flowed as the wind pushed her vale behind her.

Daichi stood beside me as my best man,and my old teammates watched me,as I smiled down at them,proud I made it this far in life.

Yachi's parents didn't turn up,so made father proudly walked her down the aisle;as he had always wanted a daughter.

We listened to the boring words of the vicar,only repeating what he said,I couldn't wait until I could say "I do." As it would connect us forever.

The moment I said "I do" and she replied the same,I burst into tears,and used all that love I had to kiss her passionately.

At the after party everyone congratulated us,and gave us presents.

My father agreed to take them home for us,as he was driving early,since he had work the next day.

I kissed Yachi's cheek once everyone had left and wrapped my arms around her.

We got into the wedding car we'd hired and was driven back to out house,being cheeky and making out in the back seat of the car.

When we got in,we had sex,obviously.I was getting old then,and I'm even older now.

It was obvious I wanted kids;she knew it too.

The day she said she was pregnant (which was the 9th of August), I burst into tears yet again,and kissed all around her face.

During the months she was pregnant,I worked longer shifts,to save up more money. Yachi got annoyed at me:as anyone naturally would.

Yachi wanted me to be home 24/7 but life's difficulties don't work like that.

I did what I could to keep her happy,like talked to her while on break,and buying her what she wanted.

She became more agitated every single day,and I promised it would only be a few more weeks.

I knew that because I kept saying that,she still believed it was only a few more weeks,as she was disorientated from all the sleep.

But those few more weeks turned into long,hard months. When I thought I'd saved enough I left the job,explaining why I was leaving.

Yachi was overjoyed (I think) and hugged me tight. There wasn't long to go.

It was possibly a month or maybe two before the baby was due,but she started getting really fussy about cleaning,and made me clean all day.

I was made to cook dinner,that never sat in her stomach for more than an hour,which made me think my food was crap.

I knew it was just because she was pregnant,but it knocked my confidence a lot.

Near the end of her pregnancy,we got into a few rows but honestly I'm pretty sure it happens to everyone.

Also another thing that could've been, but wasn't. It was for a request but sorry! I'm officially done with this book now. But I would love to read some of your haikyuu Oneshots and creations! Feel free to ask me if you want me to read something!
