Seokjin was reeling from the fact that Jungkook had kissed him.  But…what concerned him more was the fact that it felt like being with Taengie again.  He let out a shaky breath as he finished getting dressed.  He’d taken a nice, hot shower and he was ready for the day.

“Jin, don’t you think you should…take a day off?”

He perked up and turned, seeing Namjoon was standing in the doorway.  He let out a breath and fixed his shirt.

“Why would I take a day off?” the older man asked curiously.

“To relax?” his brother suggested.  “Seokjin, Jimin already told me that Jungkook told him that you were drinking last night.  That’s the third time this week.”

“I’m fine, Joon,” Seokjin insisted as he turned away.  Namjoon went over and spun him around, gazing into his eyes.

“You’re not fine,” he said with a huff.  “Jin, it hasn’t even been that long.  It won’t kill you to take a few days off to just…relax.”

“I said I’m fine,” the older man said, pulling away.  “I need to go to work.”

“You need to stay home-“ Namjoon started to say.

“No, I don’t!” Seokjin cried out.  “I can’t stand the idea of sitting here and doing nothing but crying in bed because my fiancé is gone and it’s all my fucking fault!”  He trembled a little before he let out a weak sob.  “Oh, God…”  Namjoon hugged his brother tightly.

“You can’t bottle things up like that,” he cooed.  “You’ll explode, it’s not healthy.  Listen, you need to take some time, but clearly, you need something.  Hey, why don’t I call Jimin and see if he can keep you company since I have to work.”

“F-fine…” Seokjin said, not fighting at all as he wiped at his eyes.

“Sorry about the third wheel,” Jimin apologized.  “Jungkook insisted on coming along once I told him I was spending time with my future brother-in-law.”

“It’s okay,” Seokjin reassured, letting out a breath.  Jungkook was sitting in the backseat, his gaze constantly on the doctor.  It was…relaxing.  Seokjin actually felt better with him there.

“What are we doing today?” the youngest male asked curiously.

“Why don’t we get a little lunch?” Jimin suggested.  “There’s a wonderful little cafédown the street, turn here.”  Seokjin nodded and turned down the street, going to the café he spoke of.

They all went inside, picked out a table, and ordered some sandwiches with some tea.  Seokjin sat next to Jungkook while Jimin sat across from them.  Jimin’s phone went off suddenly.

“Ooh, I’ll be right back,” he said, hopping up and heading towards the bathroom.

Alone with each other.

Seokjin gazed at Jungkook, blushing a little when the younger male met his gaze.  They sat in silence for a few moments.

“So I kissed you earlier,” the raven-haired boy said softly.

“Y-yes,” Seokjin said, feeling a bit awkward.  “Th-that…happened…”  He wasn’t sure if he wanted to have this conversation yet.  “Um…”

“I just wanted to know that if I offended you or anything, I didn’t mean to,” Jungkook explained.  “I don’t regret it, but I hope I didn’t upset you somehow.”

“You..you didn’t,” the doctor reassured.  “It was…nice.”  He smiled.  “I guess you like me, right?”

“Yeah,” the young male said shyly.  “You’re handsome, beautiful even.  But I mean…we don’t really know each other…”

“Would you…be interested in getting to know each other better?” Seokjin suggested.  “I mean…you know…”

“Well, I’d like that,” Jungkook agreed.  “Um…maybe tomorrow?  We could have dinner?”  He perked up.  “Like dates, right?”

“N-no, not like dates…but dinner is nice, just a friendly dinner…,” Seokjin said softly.  Jimin came back over, sitting down again.

“Sorry,” he apologized.  “Joon called.  I told him that we were all gonna have lunch together, and he said to tell you that you should do your best to enjoy yourself.”

“Right,” the doctor said with a little nod.  “Let’s enjoy our lunch then, shall we?”

“I met someone, Taengie,” Seokjin said softly as he sat in the grass.  He gently traced his fingers over the gravestone.  “But…nobody could ever replace you.  He’s just a nice friend.”

A gentle breeze blew around him, ruffling his hair slightly.

“Taengie…sweetheart,” he said.  “It’s like being with you again.  It’s like you’re still here with me.  Baby…he really was just like you.  It’s like you’re in a different body…”  He let out a shaky breath.

He missed Taengie so much.  He always made time to visit his grave, setting the same bouquet of flowers there every time.  He felt like he owed it to him since he did feel like this was his fault.  If he hadn’t been the one the man on the motorcycle focused on…if he’d been able to take care of himself…

“I’m sorry,” he said as tears flooded his eyes.  “I’m so sorry, Tae…if it wasn’t for me…we’d be married, you’d be here with me.”  He whined and laid down in the grass.  He curled up and hugged himself.  “Oh, baby…please come back…please…I need you…I can’t do this without you…” Despite being in the grass in a cemetery, he managed to cry himself then a voice came out behind him.

"SeokJin! "

He glances back as he saw.. A man with a gloomy face.

"Tae-taehyung!" SeokJin shocked in the man in front of him. The man just gave him a ghostly smile.

"It's been a long time... Jinnie!"
