*Two days later*

Standing at the doorway i pass Naruto his lunch box " I sure hope your sensei is nice. Most teams usually make it though so. Tell me more about it later tonight"

Naruto nods and pets me on the head."No need to worry so much. Your hair's gonna turn all white before 70." I throw a light punch at his shoulder but he dodges it and waves me goodbye. I mimic him and watch his back disappear.

I decide to go and take a peek at Naruto's exam. Walking to the rooftop, i concentrate on Naruto's chakra. I find him at the school and start making my way towards it.

When i land on the rooftop near Naruto's classroom. I see Tetsuo trying to peek in, with feet glued to the wall. My fun side decides to come out and i hide my presence. Taking extra care as I tiptoe towards my prey.

"Boo" I jump at the sound and almost lose my footing. Then i hear him giggle as his shadow clone disappears in front of me.

"Miyu, we train together almost everyday. I can tell when you're going to jump on me or not"he crosses his arms. Giving me a look of fake disappointment.

I whisper "Doesn't mean i'm going to stop trying."

"I heard that"

"Stupid Uchiha"i said in a lower pitch.

"That too"

"You here to check on Sasuke?" i asked. Tetsuo nodded. We were both looking into the classroom. Watching the each team leaving one by one. Until Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura are left.

"It's been a few hours since the rest left. Koharu do you still want to wait for their Sensei to come?" Tetsuo asked. He was playing with a kunai.

I was about to answer but my stomach gave a low growl.

I guess knowing about their sensei can wait till we get food.

"I think let's get some dinner. Sasuke and Naruto will probably tell us about their sensei later." I jump from my spot and land on the street. Tetsuo follows beside me grinning.

"Knew you wouldn't last long"

"Shut up"

Tetsuo's pov's

We soon reach her house and she heads straight into the fridge. Koharu doesn't eat out unless it's at her cousin's favourite ramen place. I see her taking out the ingredients and i offer my help.

She politely declines and i watch her cook. Her long hair is currently in a neat bun and she's wearing a black apron. While lil ole me is leaning sideways to the kitchen door. Watching her.

"Koharu? Why do you keep your hair long?"

She answers while chopping up some cabbages.

"There was once i asked Naruto to cut my hair but he made it uneven. Since then I've left it as it is. Besides i don't mind it long."

"Want me to help you cut it? I cut Sasuke's hair and my own when it gets too long." I move towards her hair. She's stirring the soup now. She flinches a little when i touch her hair. While i check for split ends.

Looks like there isn't any, which makes my job easier. (Split ends should be cut as soon as possible especially.Just leaving this here)

"I guess you can. I don't have scissors though. The last time Naruto cut my hair with a Kunai"she answers nonchalantly.

No wonder Naruto couldn't cut your hair properly i thought while sweatdropping.

"I'll be going to my house to get a pair of scissors then. Be back soon" I walk to the nearest window and jump through it. I swear i heard Koharu whispering there's a reason why the door was made.

I soon reach my house and go straight for the scissors in my room.Stuffing it into my pouch. A creak in the floor sets off some alarms in my head. With a kunai in hand i walk towards the source and i see Sasuke walking to his room. I relax and greet him.

"How was your day ? Do you want lunch? i thought you'll be back later " i put my kunai back into my pouch.

"It was fine. No need for lunch. Kakashi- sensei says the real test is tomorrow. 10 am at training grounds 3"

"I see, do you want a bento ?"

"He said to not bring bentos.  Are you heading out?"

I put my hand into my pockets. "Yeah, Koharu asked me out for dinner and i agreed to help her trim her hair"

Sasuke grins at me which i return with a really? face.

He's so sure that i have a crush on Koharu which is totally not true. We're just really close to each other. Besides i'm sure she sees me in the same light. Why does everyone assume that wwe have to be romantically interested in each other if we're close?

"Don't forget to invite me to the wedding ceremony" Sasuke walks into his room and shuts the door.

"There won't be any" i say it loud enough for him to hear before going to Koharu's house.

Naruto greets me at the window when i return. He's sitting at the table with Koharu. Three steaming plates of omelette rice decorate the table. Koharu frowns at my method of entry and i wave it off. We eat dinner in peace, Koharu's asking me about my progress in ninjutsu. Naruto on the other hand is curious about Sauske's weaknesses. I don't tell him any and he looks down until Koharu brings out dessert. Three white circles of mochi surrounded by a sea of azuki beans, greet us from a bowl.

Naruto brightens and eats the dessert eagerly at the same time as i do. Koharu eats her share quietly.

When dessert was done Naruto volunteers to do the dishes. I offer my help and he asks me to dry the dishes. Koharu on the other hand, prepares for her haircut in the bathroom.

"Tetsuo, can you pass me the soap?"

"Sure"

"How was your sensei?" And Naruto describes what happened in the afternoon. The amount of details he showers over me is overwhelming. Some do seem to be exaggerated as he makes gestures. The water-soap combination from his hands falls onto the floor.

Koharu walks into the kitchen, looks at the floor and her switch is flipped. I quietly dry the dishes and ignore the background noise.

After drying the dishes, i head to the bathroom. Koharu sits there while i take the scissors and start snipping away. Strands of red pile up on the floor.

When her hair is at shoulder length, i stop to admire my work. Koharu's once long hair is now of a manageable length. The ends were neatly cut and aligned perfectly with her shoulders.

Koharu looks into the mirror and touches her hair.

"I'm very impressed by your skills Tetsuo. It looks like you are talented in many things,"

I smile at the compliment. "Thanks Koharu but talent can only be nurtured with effort. Without effort nothing can happen."

"Going all philosophical on me now. Thanks a lot for the haircut. My head feels a lot lighter then before" Koharu stands up and stretches.

"And you for the wonderful dinner" i sweep off some hair from her shoulders.

"It's getting late. Let me send you off at least from my door"

"Nah, you should bathe soon. Or else the hair will fall everywhere and it will be hard to clean up"

Koharu nods in agreement. "Okay then i'll see you tomorrow at the training grounds"

We bide each other farewell. I turn away from her house and walk home.
