"Don't even think about running away or i'll kill him" i gulped as my sweaty palms held tightly onto a kunai.

"Who are you?" i shouted. Betraying no sign of my terror.

"Your worst nightmare"the shadowy figure replied.

"Koharu?!", i woke up to Naruto holding my right fist. I had almost punched him, immediately apologizing. He stared at me with those baby blue eyes, flashing worry.

"Sorry Naruto, i had a bad night ". I placed my hand on my forehead. Beads of sweat rolled onto my palm and i went to the toilet. Naruto followed behind me, to check on me. I splashed the cool water onto my face and stared at the person in the mirror. Red threads lined around my brown iris and i turned back to face Naruto.

"What were you dreaming about?" Naruto asked. I scrunch my features to try and remember my nightmare. But it refused to come back to me.

"I can't remember......wait i think i remember something" i walk pass the blue and white tiles, towards the cabinet.

"What do you remember ?" Naruto asked. His eyes following my every move and keeping to my right.

"You have school today" i pick up the remains of an alarm clock. The springs hung loosely as the hands turned wobbly.

Naruto runs back to the toilet,while i yawn. At the corner of my eye i see Naruto trying to put on clothes with a toothbrush in his mouth. I head to the fridge and heat up his bento box for him to bring to school. I hear him gurgle and soon he was looking for his shoes.

*ping* The microwave sang.Taking out the bento box, i placed it on a plain grey mat and wrapped it.

I turn back to see Naruto at the entrance, wearing his shoes. I pass him his lunch and wave goodbye. He dashes and replies with a wave. Within a few minutes his shadow was no longer visible.

I walk back into the house, straight to the cabinet. Bending down, i picked up what's left of our old alarm clock.

Throwing out the remains of the clock into the bin. I plan out a schedule for the day while folding the futon into a nice roll. I head towards the microwave and heat up a pre-made breakfast. The microwave sings again and i take the box out and placed it on a mat, sitting on the table. Heat stings my fingers a little but i put them under the cold water. Removing the lid from the bento box i finish my breakfast in silence.

After washing the bento box and utensils, i head out to the electronics shop. It was located at a remote area of Konoha, so i didn't need to hide my face. The owner stares at me as i drop down at the front of his shop. Walking in, I quickly spot an alarm clock. I take out some money from my wallet and put it on the counter. He stares at the money in disgust as i walk out.

Quickly exiting the area, i head to the market next to get groceries. Since most of the citizens in Konoha hate me and Naruto. I used to get hit by rotten items when i walked past their shops. It would take a two showers to get the smell out of my hair. I head to a slightly shady shop at the corner of the market.

"Miyu, Are you here?"i peek behind the cloth doors of the shop. Miyu looks up from the counter and waves hi to me.

She hops over the counter staring at me with her needle-like eyes and asks " Hi Koharu. What can i do for you today? Perhaps sabotage the electronics shop's owner ? "

I chuckle saying " Thanks a lot Miyu,, but those aren't necessary.The electronics shop's owner has to feed his family of five." I shake my head at her words.

Miyu has many "helpers" in her line of work. We used to play together for a bit as children at her house. Since she has a weak body. But her health has been improving. No words can describe her line of work, the closest i can get is trader.

Miyu waves her hand around my face. snap out of my daydream."I suppose you want your order? Give me a minute and i'll bring it out." I watch her disappear to the back. A few minutes later she lugs a bag of groceries and drops it on the counter.

"Here's your order it costs ¥3,500. No delivery fee" I pass her said amount and a few extra.

Miyu's sharp eyes catch the extra notes. She then pulls out a large piece of wild boar meat from under the counter. " And here's the extra bit you didn't order"

Staring at the meat, i calculate it's worth and sigh. " I swear Miyu, when will you let me repay you? It must be quite tiring to do my shopping."

She shakes her head and replies. " Your order is the only one that Mum will let me take. Besides our family have agreed to only charge you for the original price of your orders. Never extra. You know that we won't change our mind about this."

I smile at her words and take back the extra money."You should put the meat back into the counter before it rots. Oh and are you free later? "

She answers from the bottom of the counter."Yeah i am, do you mind if i bring Shouta along? " Miyu appears soon after.

I put my hands together and smile "The more the merrier ".

~Timeskip to evening~

Naruto's pov

I sucked at shuriken practice again. Well who wouldn't look bad after seeing Sasu-ass-ke hit all of the targets. Grinding my teeth against each other as i also got another earful from Iruka-sensei for being late.

Today probably isn't my lucky day.

I head home just needing a shower and sleep. When the lights to the house aren't turned on, i assume Koharu is out practicing with Tetsuo. The two do seem to be really close recently don't they? I stare at the wooden door in front of me.

Turning the door knob seems to make time slow down. Because as i entered the house. Koharu on the floor untangling herself and Shota from the ribbons. Miyu was at the side trying to untie the duo.

She stares at me and i pop the bubble."Nice to see you Miyu and Shota, but what's going on here Ko? " i close the door behind me . Miyu waves hi and shota copies her with no success.

Koharu blushes and explains "I was trying to surprise you with a birthday party. But when i tried to decorate the house i accidentally tripped over my own feet and dropped the ribbons. Shota got caught up in the mess. Then the oven exploded and the lights went off. " She was still trying to untangle herself from the mess.

I smile and attempt to switch on the lights. But the darkness blanketed the living room. "Looks like the light are busted. Ko we still have some candles and matches right?" i look in her direction using moonlight.

"Yeah"

With the help of Miyu. I find the candles and matches and using their small but warm light. Koharu and Shota are free from the ribbons. They sigh in relief and the four of us stare at each other, before bursting out in laughter. We decide to eat some snacks instead of fixing the house. Each clearing up a small space to sleep, sharing strange stories before we fell asleep.
