"I'm back!" Lexi shouted once she closed the front door.

"The party didn't end yet, but you stayed longer than I expected." Adelaide took a look at her niece and noticed a small smile on her face. "So, how was it?"

"It was... fun. You were right."

"Did you make any friends?"

"Well, I'm not sure I can call them friends, but I did meet a few people. There's Brittany, George, Noel and Zach."

"You met Zach? He's very charming."

"You know him well?"

"He visits his aunt quite often. He's very fond of James. He comes over every time he's in town."

Right then, Lexi's phone rang. Kyle's ID flashed on her phone screen. "I have to take this. I'll go to my room."

"Okay sweetie, good night."
Lexi kissed Adelaide's cheek and ran to her room.

"Hello Kyle."

"Hey Lexi, what's up?"

"I attended a party tonight!"

"That's new. Did you have fun?"

"Yeah, I did. I found out I have a talent."

"My interest is piqued."

"I can dance!"

"Wow... this really isn't you. What alien has taken over my best friend's body?" He laughed. "I look forward to seeing you dance then. You're coming back for my birthday right?"

"Yes, of course I am."

"Good, cause I'm hosting a big party."

"Really, Kyle..."

"Okay, okay. It'll be just the five of us."

After talking to Kyle for an hour, Lexi lay in bed exhausted. She didn't have the strength to reply to her other friends' messages. Soon she drifted to sleep.
A pair of blue eyes appeared in one of her dreams and she woke up. It was around 4am. After tossing and turning for a few minutes, she stood up and opened the window.
She stuck her head outside and inhaled the cool air, her eyes closed. When she opened them, she took a step back, startled, and almost fell to the ground.
She looked out of the window cautiously. A laughing Zach stood on Emily's balcony.

"You scared me. What are you doing here?"

"Staring at the stars, enjoying the cool night air..." Zach looked around him then walked closer to Lexi's window.

"You couldn't sleep?" she asked.

"Yeah I had this weird dream." He made a weird face and Lexi fought to keep a smile from forming. "What are you doing here?"

"I had a weird dream as well."

He stared at her for a while. "Wanna join me? I have drinks." He pointed to a small fridge in Emily's room. "Step on your window sill, extend your arms towards me and I'll pull you."

"Are you crazy? I don't want to fall."

"You won't. Don't you trust me?"

"Of course I don't. I met you a few hours ago."
