“Well you heard it here first!” said the talk show host. “The young Logan Lerman is tying the knot!” she looked back at Logan sitting across from her, he had a big grin on his face. “So, everyone wants to know…who is this girl and when is the wedding?” she looked at him all serious waiting for his reply.

“Well her name is Aubrey Jones and she has been my best friend since I could remember. She is a big supporter to my career along with my mom. Recently I have discovered my feelings for her and I don’t know…things happen.” He was looking at the camera as if he was talking to me. “We also chose our big day to be sometime in September. We don’t want to wait too long and we decided September would be pretty since we both love the fall.”

We originally had April or May chosen but we changed it because that was almost another year before we could get married. We didn’t want to wait so we chose September. It’s just after summer so it isn’t that hot and the leaves start to change. Logan and I have always been fall fans.

Sitting at the apartment, watching my... fiancé’s interview. He offered for me to go with him but I was too tired and he felt it was best for me to sleep, plus I had told him Stacy was coming over to talk wedding stuff.

How did all of this happen…I had in front of me a couple of magazines containing wedding gowns, cakes and possible venues? Failing majorly when I tried to tell him I wanted a small wedding and nothing to expensive but he wouldn’t even hear it. “Don’t worry, money is not an issue. You do what you want” was what he said to me before he left. I looked through the magazines and yeah everything looked glamorous and perfect but I knew that I wouldn’t like a dress, unless I tried it on. I wouldn’t like a cake, unless I tasted it. And I wouldn’t like a venue, unless I was actually there.

Luckily, when I told my mom Logan had proposed she called Lisa and they decided to take me out to sample this weekend. I also asked Stacy to come with us, asking her to be my maid of honor because Dean is the best man.

She was reluctant at first because of everything that happened that night but she eventually agreed knowing it was about me, and I wanted her to be there.

Stacy came out of the kitchen holding two cups of water and a bag of pretzels.

“So, which venues are you thinking about?” I looked at her and let out a sigh.

“I don’t know. We talked about a private part of the beach but it’s going to be chilly so we ruled that out. I mentioned getting married in a church but he said no because he isn’t into the whole traditional thing. I just don’t know. He also said something about maybe a cruise? I’m stuck…”

“Hmmm…what about somewhere other than the US? Maybe a different country?” Stacy said popping a pretzel in her mouth.

I shook my head.  “I don’t think so. I don’t want my family to have to pay extra money to travel anywhere out of the US. My family lives in the Eastern part of the US like New York and New Jersey. So they are already other there, and as for Logan’s family. He only had his mom and dad. They are going to travel with us when the time comes.”

She nodded her head. “SO you have to wait until you go out there to pick where you want the wedding to be? Well that stinks. At least we can find your dress and samples cakes this weekend.” She gave me a hopeful smile.

“Yeah well my mom had sent me some pamphlets for some resorts and stuff out there, so that helps a bit.”

Wow, planning a wedding IS stressful.

My thoughts were interrupted by a faint knock on the door. I got up from my seat, muting the TV while the interviewer asked about his upcoming project interfering with the wedding, which we already discussed also. He said he would wait until after the wedding to go back to doing any projects. Logan doesn’t want to add to the stress.
