Fletch had phoned his kids to make sure his room was all made up for Jac and Emma when they had arrived.
Fletch was more concerned that Jac might find it weird being in a house with 3 other kids she had never met.
Fletch had just opened the door to find all 3 of his kids waiting by the sofa.
"What are you lot still doing up I told you if you don't go to bed Santa won't come"

Jonny walked towards the door and waved goodbye leaving everyone to get ready for the most magical time of the year. He felt glad Jac was finally making progress to see Emma not matter what state she was in.
"See you Jonny and have a good Christmas" Fletch shouted out.
Jonny left and everyone was talking about Jac reading them a bedtime story.
Fletches little girl Mia asked if Jac could read them the night before Christmas and as ever Jac was happy to oblige.
All the kids sat down on the sofa to hear Jac tell them the story. Emma was happy as she sat with her mum listening to all the words of the story being told. All the kids were nearly falling asleep when Fletch walked in the room with two cups of tea and was shocked all the kids quiet and peaceful.

Finally Jac and Fletch were alone at last and found it nice having peace and quiet.
Jac reached for her cup of tea and sipped it. It felt and tasted better than having the hospital drinks which is what she was having on a daily bases.
"Thankyou Fletch for all this you really didn't have too" Jac replied.
"It's my pleasure" Fletch replied back thinking it was how he would want to spend Christmas if he was in the same shoes as Jac.
Jac was trying to find some ground to get out of her wheelchair and with all her strength she managed just about and stood on her too feet.
Jac was standing right in front of Fletch and told him she was going to bed.
"You gonna be ok going up them stairs" Fletch asked in a reasonable manner.
"I'm sure I'll be fine" Jac said.
Jac made her way to the stairs and watched Fletch get the sofa ready for him to sleep on.
In a way she felt guilty as his room was being used for her and Emma. she felt like he didn't have to do all this but he wanted to make sure jac had the chance to be with Emma over the Christmas holidays.
"Night Fletch" Jac said as that was all she could manage to muster out of her mouth.
