"One Grande Salted Caramel Latte Please," I said to the woman working the casheir. I handed her my cash and once I recieved my change I went to the other end of the counter to grab my drink.
"Brynn!" the employee shouted. I smiled and grabbed my drink. I walked out of the cafe, heading to the bookstore across the street. Once i walked in the door I was imdediatly hit with the savoring scent of thousands of new books. Making my way over to the Classics isle, I couldn't help the grin that grew wider with every step I took.
I reached up on my tip-toes to see any books on the top shelf that grabbed my attention. I smiled once I saw "Lord Of The Flies" on a spine. I ran my fingers along it and several other books on the shelf.
I gasped. Is that The Great Gatsby? I quickly turned around so I could walk to grab the book but my plans were cut short when I bumped into a solid something...Or should I say someone, my latte spilling all over the victim I collided with. I fell on the ground and rubbed my elbow which hit the ground when I fell. I heard a grunt and looked infront of me to see a guy about my age standing to his feet.
"Next time watch where your going," he mumbled rudley. I glarded up at him once he stood fully on his feet and began to walk away from me, leaving me sitting on the ground.
"Thanks for the help, Jerk." I snapped.  He jerked his body around to face me and I glanced into his eyes. Beautiful eyes, i might add. As pretty as they were I coulkd practically see the flames burning in them. He opened his mouth to say something but was cutr off by one of the employees interrupting us. My neighbor and best friend, Kelton.
"Hey Kel!" I said. He looked down at me and smiled.
Reaching out a hand to help me up he beamed, "Hey Brynn." He paused, looking at the ruse guy standing and watching us with a jaw dropped. "I hope my cousin isn't causing any issues here," Kelton said.
"He's your cousin?" I asked astonished. "How is that possible. You're so nice and he is so rude." Kelton laighed while the jerkhole infront of me glared.
"Hey! I'm not the one spilling my coffee on innocent people," Kel's cousin chimed.
"You could have at least helped me up," I said. "Maybe then i would have at appologized and offered to buy you a new jaket." He scoffed, crossed his arms and looked over to Kelton for some kind of help.
"She's not lying dude." He threw and arm over my shoulder. "Brynn is one of the kindest people I know. That's why she's my little sister." He locked his arm around my head and rubbed his knuckles over my skull.
"Wait." Kaltons cousin spoke up. "This is your neighbor?" Kelton nodded and released my head.
"You never told me she was hot." My cheeks flushed and his words and Kelton chuckled pulling me into a side hug.
"That's why I told you to stay away from her before you moved here. You've been through some stuff and you're the most feared dude in the area. I don't want her caught up with you.
      "I'm still here."
