"Anna..."He spoke as he got up with the support of the toilet.

I stumbled backwards out of the bathroom as he just smirked whilst keeping a balance by leaning against a wall.

You could tell by his hazy dreamy eyes that he was drunk. Very drunk. I found myself just looking into his eyes.

"Why are you here." He asked as he raised a eyebrow and walked out, towards me.

"I was supposed to charge- I mean, I came here to find you." I answered.

"Here I am. What do you need Anna Lim."

His expression didn't change. His cheeks were still puffy and pink. And the buttons in his shirt were messed up. Jesus Christ.

"I-I" I found myself stuttering and not being able to speak from the intense stare he was giving.

I could feel MY cheeks burning up as I fiddled with my dress.

"Hmph." He scoffed as he very clumsily bumped into a wall whilst trying to walk to me.

I stepped back every time he would get any more than a metre close.

Being the stupid. Anna Lim, I didn't realize that there was a bed right behind me.

Anna do a U-turn. But before I could, he hobbled over me, but before I got squished under him, I rolled away from him and fell off the bed as he just plunged his face into the pillows.

"Felix." I shook him, but no response except for rather loud snoring.

This time I tried pulling his hair.

"Anna." He mumbled.

"Yes?" I gasped, am I annoying him? Is he going to get mad at me?

He lifted his head up, as he looked up at my face and he smiled. Random.

Very weird behaviour..coming from Felix.

"Felix what are you-"

Before I could even finish what I was going to say, I heard the door slam open as Karlee sashayed in.

Oh dear. More drama..?

"Ahem." She cleared her throat loudly as she glared at me. "What do you two think you're doing? Alone in a room at a party."

"We werent doing anything." I answered casually.

"Was I talking to you?" She asked as she glared at me again.

"I don't know. Were you?" I asked and I could tell I pretty much pissed her off; her face was turning red.

"NO I WASNT OKAY ANNA SO GET THE FUCK OUT OF THIS ROOM BEFORE I PHYSICALLY GRAB THE END OF YOUR HAIR AND-"

"Karlee shhhh.." Felix lifted his head up, and winked at Karlee who was in the middle of punching the air and shooting daggers at me with her crystal blue eyes.

"Why is it that I'm getting a feeling your trying to get close with my man?" Karlee raised both her eyebrows as she crossed her arm.

"Karlee may you get out? You see, that girl you arguing with right now wants to speak to me babe so shoo!" Felix spoke sleepily as he started doing weird hand gestures.

"Wh-what?!" Karlee sounded astonished as she just stood there and stomped her feet.

"If you won't get out. We will." Felix lazily pulled himself off the bed, grabbed my arm and left Karlee alone in the room.

My heart. It felt..like he didn't betray me.
My heart was beating at a rapid speed again..

"So what is it." Felix sighed.

We were now outside, by the pool where there were a lot of people just sitting around. Loud music was even blasting out here with large speakers which had LED lights changing colour, lighting up the pool and the clear night sky.

There were more people eating and drinking in the gazebo, basically..chaos.

"Well..." I started.

"Well.?"

"Wait..are you still drunk or have you gone a little bit sober yet?" I asked. If I say thank you when he's drunk, he obviously won't remember.

"I'm sort of sober but my head still hurts I guess." He spoke as he crouched down, and splashed some pool water on his face.

"Well...the thing is.."

He looked up, with curiosity.

"..thank you. I honestly don't know how to thank you enough. I flew all the way here to America to say this! And I- I just don't really know how to phrase this but please just know that I'm very thankful and you shouldn't have done that but THANK YOU SO MUCH!" I ended up rambling and repeating things over and over.

"Thank you for what..?" He asked confused.

Let's just get to the point.

"Well..I know you didn't want me finding out. But when you left, headmistress told me. She told me that you saved me from the fire. You really shouldn't have done that. You could have died because of me..." I ended up choking in guilt that I didn't carry on with what I was saying.

"Do you think I care?" His tone changed as he looked back down at the water.

"What..."
does he not care about me anymore? Has he completely lost interest of me? Did I do anything wrong?

"Do you think I care about the fact that I could've died saving you? I risked it. I risked it knowing I could die. I risked it knowing we could both die. But I risked it because even if we both died in that, I would still be able to be with you. I didn't want you to go alone. So that's why I risked my stupid pointless life for you."

I broke into sudden tears. Just thinking about him risking his life for me made my heart hurt.

"..but why?" I managed to whisper out.

He stood up. Facing me. He grabbed both of my hands, and looked deeply into my eyes.

Lifting a hand up, he wiped my tears which were slowly staining my cheek.

"Why...?" He whispered back.

"...because I love you."
