I had been looking for Zayn for quite a long time and I was starting to think it was better to wait till Monday to talk with him. Suddenly in the distance I saw a familiar tall skinny guy smoking a cigarette. Luckily he was alone and not accompanied by those other guys... Louis and Liam.

"Zayn!" I called him.

He turned around and smiled as soon as he saw me. "What an exquisite surprise, babe." I gave him a shy smiled and walked towards him. "I think we didn't finish with our conversation." Zayn said with a tranquil tone. "We were rudely interrupted."

"Yes and that's why I was looking for you." I said. "To finish that talk."

"Do you know what your name means, babe?" I shook my head. Why was he asking me that? "It means 'rose' in Hebrew. And that's how you're supposed to be treated. Like a delicate beautiful rose." He said, caressing my cheek with his index finger. I shivered at his touch. "Not like that faggot of Harry treats you."

"Can we please don't talk about that asshole?" I let out a sigh.

Zayn laughed and shook his head. "What did he do this time?" I looked at him and was about to say something when he spoke again. "Wait, don't tell me. Let's better finish our talk." He said, throwing the cigarette and stubbed it out with his foot. "So, where were we before that certain someone interrupted us?" The dark haired boy smiled at me.

"You were apologizing with me." I smiled back.

"Right." Zayn winked at me and then grabbed my hand. "Babe, I know I scared the shit out of you that day and I'm really sorry. I took it out on you and you didn't deserve that. But I promise you if you give me the chance that I'll make it up to you and even more. Would you please forgive me?"

I was wrong. Having compared Harry with Zayn was a total mistake. Only one of them had conscience, therefore felt regret and empathy. And that was Zayn. "Yes."

His hazel eyes widened and a smile began to form in the corner of his lips. "You..."

"I forgive you, Zayn."

All of sudden, he leaned closer and placed a tender kiss on my cheek. I felt a smile growing wider in his lips. "Grazie mille, bella." He whispered in my ear, without moving an inch apart from me. I needed to step back. Zayn's proximity was something new for me and I still needed to have certain distance. "I may be rushing things but would you like to go out sometime?"

I blinked a few times. His question caught me off guard. "I-uhm." I bit my lip, not sure what to answer. Was it going to be like a date date or a friend date? I just hope it's the last one because I honestly have zero experience in the dating department.

"Don't worry, babe. It'll be just a harmless friend date." He said, as he had read my mind. "You and I hanging out somewhere no one can bother us."

"Ok, sounds good then." I said, smiling shyly.

"What about tonight?" He asked.

I chocked, making him laugh. "T-tonight?"

"Too soon?" He laughed again. "It's just that there's going to be a bonfire so I thought it could be a great chance to do it."

A bonfire? I didn't know there was going to be one. I've never been to one so it would be nice, sitting around the fire and telling stories. "Sure, let's do it."

"Marvellous. I'll go by your room at 9." He leaned closer and placed a kiss on my cheek. "See you later, babe."

I watched Zayn's figure walk away from me and then disappear in the distance. Once I was alone I let out a deep sigh. One problem tackled. Now what do I do with Harry? Nothing, you won't do anything with him. He's not worth of your time nor your thoughts, my subconscious said. It was easiest saying it than doing it tough. I should better go and apologize with Rue for being a blind stupid girl. Oh God, I can't believe I almost got in a big fight with her for defending that stupid asshole! I need to talk with her.

...

"Rue!" I called her as I opened the door. "Rue, are you here?"

"Oh my God, Raiza!" She said, running towards me. She hugged me tight and let out a sight in relief. "I thought something had happened to you. I woke up and you weren't here, then Cam called me saying you went looking for that disgusting asshole after he had shown you the bruises. He told me you were furious."

"Yeah I went looking for him and told him off." I said. "I honestly don't know how I agreed to be friends with him. I don't know, he had acted so different the last couple of times." I look at her and bit my lip. "I'm so sorry Rue for not believing you. I'm so dumb!"

"Sh, don't apologize. It's all good." My roommate said with a sweet tone. "And don't be so hard on yourself either. It's not your fault. His kind can be very deceptive. It's what they're good at."

I was really tired to question Rue what she meant by 'his kind' so I just supposed she meant 'people that are obnoxious, self-centred, full of themselves dickheads like Harry'. Wow, what a hectic morning huh? It was Saturday for fuck sake; I was supposed to study in the morning so later I could hang out with my friends. But now I was drained and didn't want to do a thing. All again thanks to Mr. Harry 'I'm a complete asshole and I'll ruin your life' Styles.

"Raiza." Rue snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked at her. "Did you hear what I say?"

I shook my head. "No, I'm sorry."

"There's going to be a bonfire tonight. I thought maybe we could go the three of us." She said, smiling. "It'll help you to take your mind off from all this."

"I'd love to but I already agreed with someone else on going with him." I said, feeling guilty for turning her down.

"Him?" My roommate asked, raising her eyebrow cheekily. "You were going with Cam and you didn't tell me!?"

"Hey, you're the psychic one here. Do I really need to tell you?" I joked. Rue laughed and then winked at me. "No, I'm not going with Cam. A classmate, who started with the wrong foot with me, invited me as an apology; so I accepted."

"A classmate, huh?" Rue narrowed his eyes and gave me a cheeky smile. "Cam's going to be jealous."

"Don't be silly, Rue!" I said, blushing. "Cam and I are just good friends."

"Aha."

"Maybe we could go the four of us together." I suggested. "Zayn's going to pick me up at 9."

"Nah, don't worry girl. I don't want to ruin your date." My gothic friend said, winking at me.

"God, Rue! It's not a date!" I covered my face because I felt my cheeks grew warm. "He invited me as an apology."

"Yeah yeah, whatever." She said, moving her hand. "Either way, I don't want to intrude in his 'apology date' so we can meet there if after spending time with him your date scenario goes well."

I rolled my eyes and repressed a laugh. She was impossible but I loved her, and I was glad nothing changed after what had happened.

...

Ok guys, I wasn't sure yet about updating or not but these past days I've been thinking a lot, and I've also been reading all the messages and comments you've sent me and I really appreciate all your support. There are a few people I would want to thank specially for giving me those right words I needed so much but if I name them all it might get a little too long haha but they know who they are.
So I guess this means I'm going to keep working hard on my book and keep writing if, of course, you guys still want to make this journey with me :)

Ok, I'll stop now or else you'll get bore with my sentimental talking hahah.

Love you,

M. x
