It was a typical Saturday morning, I woke up at 6:00 to get ready for work, I had a shower, got dressed and made my way down to the coffee shop, I greeted my co workers and manager, I went to my locker in the back and put my bag and phone in there, I wrapped my apron around my waist and made my way out. It was a cold winter Y/C/ morning, meaning everyone would be coming in for a hot beverage to warm their cold bodies up.
I walked over to the counter where you collect your coffee, and I greeted Sasha "Morning Sash." "Oh Morning Y/N, here's the green tea and cappuccino for table 8." She greeted back. I grabbed the coffee's saying a small thanks and turned on my heels looking around for table 8, when I spotted it I headed over and greeted them.
"Morning, the Green tea?" I asked as a teenage boy around my age with brown quiffed hair, and brown eyes, one being a lazy eye, looks up at me and didn't answer me. I cleared my throat. "The green tea?" I questioned again, "Oh um yeah that's mine, sorry, thank you." The boy responded, he clearly wasn't from here based off his accent. I smiled and handed the man sitting across from him, his cappuccino before turning back around and walking away.
About 20 minutes later, I was serving a customer and then I went to make her coffee, when Sasha who was now clearing tables and restocking the shop up, walked past and slipped me a napkin, I looked at her confused, she just winked and walked off. I called out the lady's name and she collected her coffee saying thanks and wishing me a good day while leaving. I returned the gesture and opened the napkin, it read 'call or text me sometime xxxxxxxxxx - Shawn (the guy from table 8 with the Green Tea)' I smiled and placed it in my bag in my locker before returning to work for the rest of the day
