Danielle's P.O.V
"Maybe you should just sit backstage for the concert instead of standing in the crowd with the girls." Austin said to me as he watched his thumbs closely, twiddling them

"May-" I winced at the feeling of the gauze covered in alcohol making contact with my cuts, "Yea maybe you-you're right." I finished my sentence

My eyes were shut tightly as one of the paramedics that showed up to clean my wounds finished

"I think-" Austin was cut off causing him to huff and cross his arms over his chest

"Infection shouldn't be something you worry about because I cleaned your cuts well but if some how you notice them getting infected while they heal don't hesitate to go and get them checked out, ok?" The man asked me

"Yea ok. Thank you so much." I replied

"Of course." He said, then grabbed his stuff and left the room we were in

"Anyway, what I was saying." Austin rolled his eyes then continued to talk, "I just don't think you should be in a loud crowd that's moving a lot and has loud music. It will be quieter here." Austin said to me as I got up off the chair I was sitting in and walked over to him

The blonde boy placed his hands onto my waist and gently pulled me down so i was sitting on his lap

I leaned back and snuggled into his chest while his long arms snaked their way around me

"Yea. I really wanted to see you preform though." I pouted

"Maybe at a concert that someone doesn't run up and punch you in the head." He shrugged like it was nothing

"Shut up." I rolled my eyes, "It's not like I knew that I was gonna' get jumped or something."

"If you knew you would tell me." Austin stated with his eyes closed but then they quickly shot open and he stared at me, "You would tell me, right? So I could make sure it would've happen?"

"Of course I would tell you." I rolled my eyes

"Good." Austin smiled contently as I began to get off of him

"W-What are you doing?" Austin stuttered

"You still need to go meet people." I giggled

"Well yea but-"

"No but's. Go." I said and as Austin quietly rose up off the couch and walked past me, I leaned towards him and slapped his butt jokingly

Austin spun around with the most shocked expression on his face causing me to drop to the ground and burst into a fit of laughter although my head was aching

"No." He said

"Never again is that happening. It's supposed to be the other way around." Austin shook his head rapidly

"Just- go." I said between laughs

Austin, still shocked, turned in his heel and left the room quickly

Once I gathered myself, I stood up and walked to the couch

I laid down on it and listened to everything going on around me until I fell asleep

"That was great!" I heard what sounded like Zion shout

"Bro! Shut up! Can't you see that Dani is sleeping?" Nick hissed at Zion

"Sorry. I'm kind of blind." Zion shrugged and they all sat down

Because his screaming caused me to wake up, there was no point in still laying there with my eyes closed

I leaned up and rubbed my eyes the let my lids part ways so I could see everyone and everything again

"Oh. You woke her up, good job." Brandon rolled his eyes

"Can you guys just shush please? Let Dani wake up without you guys yelling at Z." Kaylee lectured the boys and everyone went silent

"It's fine guys. Really." I spoke up

Those were my first words at this point in time

Everyone smiled at me and in sync came to give me one big group hug

"Guys i'm fineee. I'm not a baby." I whined to everyone

"Shhh." They hushed and began holding me tighter

"Where's Austin?" I asked and that's when everyone paused

"I don't really know now that I think about it..." Jessie said

"He was literally just walking off the stage with us." Edwin said

Everyone let go of me and we all stood up

"So he just disappeared?" Amanda asked

"That's what it sounds like." Mya mumbled and we all stood in a circle facing each other, totally lost and confused about what to do next
