I see you in the dark
Your gleam ignites a spark
All I can think about is getting to you
But you think of me in another hue
You chase the sun night after night
I fear we never had a chance to fight
I shoot across the sky in a dazzling shine
Yet all you see is her glowing fine
I remain in the blackness of space
Shooting across the night without a trace
Forgotten without second thought
I will pursue you until I am caught
As the night starts to fade to day
So you and the day can run away
I am left to think about you
In a different hue
