Hatred

One word. So many things
I feel it coursing through my veins
Begging to be released

So I give in

The words of darkness no one should ever hear fill the air around me
The venom of the words slices through the air
Cutting like razors

Leaving gashes
Some need more then a band-aid
For that won't stop the bleeding
It flows freely down the arm of the person in front of me

But I feel no remorse

The hatred consumes me
Swallowing me whole.
I don't fight it
It's already won
The damage is done

And there's nothing I can do
