"Dallas. Dallas! DALLAS!" I groan into my pillow as I hear my mum waking me up. Wait, this isn't a pillow? I open my eyes and see we're on a plane. Oh yeah, we must have landed in Sydney, the lovely place I moved from 5 years ago. "Come on, young lady. We landed." I slowly get out of my seat, grabbing my backpack. I follow behind my very posh mum, taking my iPhone out and putting my earphones in. I put it on shuffle and my favorite song, Roger Rabbit by Sleeping With Sirens blasts into my ears.
I can't wait to see my childhood best friend when we finally get home. We moved into the same house we lived in before which was right next to Luke's. I hope he will be as happy to see me as I am to see him.
We grab our luggage and walk through the crowded airport to get to the exit. There is a taxi parked outside the airport and we pack in. Me, my younger brother and my mum in back and my dad in the passengers seat. Lucky fucker. I bet since I said my mum was posh you thought I would be too but jokes on you, I'm the complete opposite of her and she hates it. I could be classified as punk or a rebel but I'm not one covered in tattoos or piercings, yes I have a lip piercing and one tattoo but I don't plan on having so many tattoos and piercings that it looks completely disgusting.
I wonder if Luke will be anything like me, probably not. He was always one to follow rules and was a good boy but I was a pretty bad influence on him. Oops? After about half and hour we reach our house, it hasn't changed at all. It still had the tree house me and Luke helped my dad and his dad build. We spent all our time in there, we would play so many games and draw. We even shared our first kiss in there. It happened the day before I left, he said he loved me but I only thought of it as a friendly way until he kissed me. It was a short kiss but it meant everything. It was something that would only be shared by us, a bond you could say.
I don't have any feelings for Luke now and he probably doesn't have any for me.
I went up straight to my room and started unpacking, we had sent most of our things here before we moved and some of my parent old friends had a key to the house and brought the things in. I started putting posters on my dark blue walls, the posters mainly consisted of One Direction, Sleeping With Sirens, and Pierce the Veil. I know, weird music taste but I promise One Direction are the only boyband I like. I mainly like punk rock and stuff like that.
I start unpacking my clothes, which are mainly band tees and black skinny jeans. I don't fold any of the clothes, I just shove them in. I know my mum will come in here and fold it anyways because she is a neat freak and won't even let me have a slightly messy room. I don't really have any other belongings to unpack so I go downstairs and yell to my mum that I'm going for a walk. Walking down the sidewalk and check my twitter, still listening to music. Due to my lack of paying attention to where I'm going and being extremely clumsy, I run straight into someone. I look up at the victim of my clumsiness, apologizing. It's a boy about my age who is covered in tattoos and has a couple piercings. I must say he is pretty attractive but I feel like I have seen him before. "Dallas?" The boy questions and just like that I know who it is. My eyes widen at his appearance, I never expected this from him! I snap out of my shock, "Luke! Oh my god!" I hug him and he seems reluctant to hug me back but he wraps his arms around me. I'm very short compared to Luke so it's a little weird but I feel comfort in the hug.
He let's go of me and his eyebrows furrowing together as he stares at me, seeming not to believe that it's really me. Finally he speaks, his voice cracking, "What are you d-doing here?"
