Washing the blood of her smooth hands, Emery's head turned to Klaus, who was waiting for his chance at the sink. Leaving the sink running for him, she turned and dried her hands, all traces of blood now gone. Unfortunately, Klaus was not as lucky, the gruesome red staining his shirt and face as well. Sabrina, who had gone into the other room, came out of the whole affair the cleanest. While she had her own bone to pick with the witches who threw her father to the dust, the brunette didn't appreciate staining her manicured hands.

As Emery exited the bathroom, Hayley entered the room with Sabrina close behind, "I see your interrogation went well."

"It turns out these witches are delicate creatures," Klaus replied. Sabrina coughed, eyes narrowing at the original. Impressed with her performance in the torture of said witches, he revised his statement, "Except for the one sitting on the couch behind you. No matter. As suspected, my mother has Elijah captive."

"Great. Let's go find them," Hayley said, relieved at the inkling of information on Elijah's whereabouts.

"Esther is too powerful. She won't easily be found. I need to draw her out," he began to shut the doors of the bath area.

"Wait," Hayley stopped him. "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to change my shirt. And then I'm going to find my brother," Klaus smiled, once again beginning to shut the doors.

Hayley blocked him from doing so, "Klaus, let me come with you."

Klaus sighed, "I know you want to help, Hayley, but you can't. My mother is wretched. She will target you to thwart me. The only reason Emery can come is because I know she can hold her own after a millennium, and even still I am hesitant about her joining. And I can't very well save Elijah if I'm busy saving you, can I?"

"Emery's not going," Sabrina stated, her tone and posture becoming quite serious.

"To hell I am," Emery scoffed, not wanting to listen to her little sister trying to boss her around.

"Emery," Sabrina said, her tone enough to make the blonde look her way. "You are not going, and that is final." Before Emery could argue much further, she continued, "Please, trust me. You'll be much more help here."

"Fine, but don't think I won't be causing as much trouble here as I possibly can."

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Marcel and Gia were discussing the mystery of Elijah and where exactly he went missing.

"I did like you said. Kept a low profile," Gia walked down the stairs to Marcel. "Went all over the city. There's no sign of Elijah anywhere."

"Yeah, the humans I know said the same thing. Maybe Klaus is having better luck," Marcel responded.
