"You can't keep a relationship with anyone. So why keep trying? You're half Goddess, you don't need to." A voice said. The person stood in front of me, almost an exact replica of myself. Except it was twitching and parts were not rendering. They faded in and out of existence at random intervals. Not to mention the black blood that constantly flowed from the dark crimson eyes.

"Get out of my dream, Glitched!" I shouted at it, my voice echoing in the dark abyss that we stood in. All it did was smile. It's fangs were bloody, as if it had recently eaten something.

Or someone.

"Why? Messing with your sanity is just so much fun! Oh. I was here to tell you something! Spawn couldn't make her blasted appearance, so, she sent me." Glitched spat, starting to circle me.

"You're a messenger boy then." I taunted, keeping eyes on it as it circled.

It suddenly lunged forward and grabbed my scarf. It pulled me forward, our faces inches apart.

"Call me that one more time, and I'll kill everyone you care about and more." It said dangerously, dark crimson eyes boring into my golden ones.

"What was the message, Glitched." I said in a quiet fury.

It let me go and stated walking around again, seemingly calm again. It glanced at me, eyes still bleeding.

"They're coming."

"What?"

"I said," It's voice grew more distorted and started walking towards me. I backed away, only to press up against something. It was below freezing, whatever I touched, so I jumped and then tripped over Glitch's outstretched foot. "They're coming." It whispered in my ear. Glitch put its hand on my throat and started choking me.

I felt a sharp pain on the side of my face and woke up. I quickly checked my throat for any bruises and winced. I saw Jack and Mark standing next to my beside. I checked the clock. 5:43 A.M.

"Are you alright??" Jack asked loudly. I felt like I was unable to talk, as if I had actually been choked. All I could do was breathe in and out raggedly. I swallowed with difficulty. I put my hands over my face and rubbed my temples.

"What happened, Max?" Mark asked, looking stricken.

"Nightmare." I said hoarsely before getting up and walking unsteadily towards the mirror. I checked my throat and saw no ligature marks. But I sure as hell felt it. Then I saw it.

I saw Glitched standing between Mark and Jack in the mirror, it was mouthing something. I couldn't understand what it was saying though. It chuckled and them flickered out of existence, leaving me confused.

"Why are you staring at us?" Mark asked with an eyebrow raised.

"'N why are ye checkin' yer neck?" Jack asked.

"Surreal nightmare is all. Just a little paranoid after it. I'm seeing things." I said, talking easily now.

What did Glitched mean by that? They're coming? It didn't mean... no. That's not okay. That's extremely fucked up. It won't happen -- it can't happen. Not as long as Dad is watching over it.

So what else could Glitched mean?
