Chapter Twelve ~ Decisions
Calum
Sunday
For the past couple of days I've been thinking about a lot, and I'm positive I've figured out and decided what to do about keeping Angel safe.
In the beginning, I was completely against something like this, but giving the situation, I have no choice.
This is the only way I can protect her. It's risky but it must be done. It will be in motion tomorrow.
I just came from talking with Alex about it all and he couldn't be more thrilled.
To be honest, I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel the same. I just hope this goes well.
He kindly offered to send a couple of his men to watch over her at school but I obviously was not going to agree with that. The only man that will be watching over her, is me. I couldn't stand the thought of them around her, watching her, I don't trust them.
I found out that Angel's parents have arranged to accompany someone for dinner, Angel included. All I know, is some middle aged couple invited them over for dinner, I'm guessing to get to know them and what not, and they also have a daughter and a son.
Now this, worries me. I have an idea of who it could be, and for her sake, I hope it's not who I suspect.
Be it them or not, whoever it is, I suggest they stay away from her, or else they'll have to confront their most deepest and darkest nightmare.
While I was deep in thought, I saw movement out of the corner of my eye, it was her parents stepping outside, she soon followed... and let me just say, she was absolutely breath taking.
I couldn't peel my eyes away even if I tried. It's when she got in the car and closed the door that I snapped out of my trance.
As they drove away from the house, I started to follow behind them.
I wanted to make sure that nothing happened tonight and that she's okay.
I could tell that she was nervous, I wanted to reassure her that everything was going to be okay. That is, if this family really is just a family.
I came to a halt when they parked in front of a house.
I swiftly climbed up a nearby tree and watched from afar.
When they got out of the car, Angel, unlike her parents, stood there and gazed upon the tall structure before her.
She was curious I believe, and possibly, scared? Unsure of the occupants within the dwelling.
She inhaled deeply and shook her head, as if she pushed the anxious uncertainties out of her mind.
She bravely walked alongside her parents as they approached the front door, her father knocked a few times and they patiently waited for someone to meet them at the door.
Angel had her head down, staring at her hands as she fiddled with her fingers. She was thinking intensely about something.
When the door opened, her head lifted. Stood before them, looked to be a middle aged couple, the parents and owners of this household I presume.
We have yet to meet their children, who are more than likely, waiting inside.
To be truthful, something was off about this place, I just couldn't put my finger on it.
